What do you guys think of the saints row games? imo its a mash up of gta and driver....but everything is hilarious hahah. I really enjoyed number 3 and im installing 2 as i write this

What do I think? Love and hate.

Let's begin our story with Saints Row 1. For it's time, it was really amazing. It was rather more serious too, but since the game was quite heavy on the console system, it ended up having ass backward retarded glitches which made it absolutely hilarious. Sort of like with Driv3r! It had all kinds of cool little details put in there and even the music was superb. Saints Row 2, alright, still good but it's a downgrade compared to first Saints Row. With Saints Row: The Third... I don't even know how to begin explaining. It just went to sh*t. From the first gameplay footage I could tell it was sh*t, even more so after playing it. Ever since Saints Row went for the "let's be wacky, over the top ridiculous on purpose" it went downhill. Saints Row: The Third is just so downgraded I hate to even call it a Saints Row game. There are so many cool things missing and most of the storyline missions are just some side missions with a bit of backstory... there are no female cops in the game, the guns are way too oversized and the music, GOD! They just had to throw in some dubstep to make me even more disgusted of it. They even screwed up some of my favorite characters. Shaundi is just a pissed off revenge-hungry moron. Not the chill cooled down chick we saw in SR2. Pierce, Pierce is still the same idiot and there's not much left to say about Gat, who died. Yeah, nice marketing trick with SR4 to bring him back. Anyway, even Steelport as a city is just so damn bland and boring. Only thing they got right with Saints Row: The Third was the random scenarios and drunk drivers. Which is amusing, since it really is the only thing they got right. What was the charm of Saints Row 1 probably the fact it wasn't trying to be all wacky funny, but it was so flawed it ended up being so. It was just great. And that's my 2 cents in. I'd write more but I'm tired as hell so I'll head off to bed.

I don't even want to comment on SR4.

Never played those games so I can't say. But if you've ever played Left For Dead, it's a lot like that only instead of zombies, you're shooting cops.

Play the game! I'm sure you'll like it. Very intense.
