I highly recommend it, dispite the handholding in the first few hours, this is how a sequel should be, it improves on everything (2033 is still an amazing game I love though).

If I remember correct, it didnt have overdone reflections, but the shadows and so on were just like beta):

I am not sure if I can find it, I was using it around 2009 on a really slow computer so...

That looks terrible. The shadows look like a Photoshop "Drop Shadow" layer style. It just doesn't look right.

I think those are doctored images. You can see on the second picture a slight blurriness on Claude's body near the taxi's shadow. They were clearly added in afterwards. Notice how none of the environment has shadows, only cars.

Just throwing it out there I updated a couple of things to the theme (OMFG) - "Featured Video" is now bigger, and the breadcrumb buttons fit in with the theme. Yay!

I’ve yet to see a place like this in the whole European Union. And if there is, then Austria is definitely the last one on the list. It’s simple, Bulgaria and Romania were never supposed to enter the EU, but idiotic brands like Renault decided it would be a great idea to build their cars there, cheap costs and short transport being the reason and obviously with them entering the EU = no Customs on the borders. Now we (European citizen) have to pay taxes for these people so they can buy our old cars that were meant to be crushed. Not hating or anything, but everyone I know says these countries should be kicked out. On the other hand, Croatia, a country which is economically and politically a few decades ahead of Bulgaria, entered EU only a few days ago — 6 years after Bulgaria.

Not wanting to start a political conversation here or anything, most people wouldn’t even understand, but seriously I was shocked when I saw those pictures. I knew it wasn’t nice, but this area looks like war in Iraq.

The Interview is easy, I've managed to hit the developers time of 30 seconds. The Presidents Run however is the only mission I have troubles with in D1.

I don't hate any missions in driver 1, just a place in Miami makes the mission harder. That back street with the two lanes in Miami, Alton road i think its called, every time you go their the cops just destroy you with roadblocks

In short words thats capitalism, sooner or later some people will be mad because they will lose their jobs in their country because some brand decided to export the plant to a country with cheaper costs. On the other hand i see that you've never been to eastern europe countries, which probably suffered the most WW2 and later the soviet regimes.

Here you can see the types of buildings which were built back in soviet era depending of the secretary of communist party.

And i forgot to show you how "beautiful" is NY or Detroit to say some examples.

And yes, it has to do with Renault. If you’d watch news, you would know it, but probably your government is hiding everything. Bulgaria and Romania entered the EU so western and central European countries could produce their sh*t their, instead of producing them in China. The work is almost as cheap as in China, the much shorter travel results in cheaper costs, the fact it’s in the EU and there is no border means no customs and no taxes, and they can even say it was “made in Europe”, when clearly, it’s an insult.

And no, I’ve never been to Iraq, neither I want to. I haven’t been to Bulgaria/Romania either, but Google Street View confirms my suspicions.

Ironically, yesterday after I wrote the other post, I stumbled across an article in the online-newspaper which was saying that you can now buy, yes BUY Bulgarian people. *Sigh* I guess it’s part of European History, since ever they’ve been slave-states, no matter if it was the Roman Empire, the Holy Roman Empire or the 3rd Reich. Except now they’re trying to make it look all nice and “Human”, as if they wanted to help them. EU is collapsing!
