Oh, I have that too, except the background is different.

What did it look like before? Someone said something about DSF style so I was looking out for a yellow logo somewhere :P

I absolutely despised the previous logo. I never did it right and it was bugging me, so I made a new one.

So in other news, I have accumulated over 594 images of DRIV3R pictures, including all platforms (from game sites), tons of beta pictures, gameplay pictures, everything you can possibly think of. That was a lot of right-click > saving, took me over 2 hours of constant saving to get all of them. Some are duplicates, so I will roughly estimate 580 pictures of DRIV3R, all of them unique in their own sense. I plan on using them for various projects, such as Driver Wiki, Driver Madness, and maybe other personal projects for when I get bored.

Background is diffirent since I use the new beta theme.

Nothing wrong with the old one imo, do like the new one just as much though.

Yeah there is something horribly wrong with it. You can hardly read the "madness" part, even on a dark background. Design flaws FTW.

Great news!! Atari filled in for bankruptcy :)

Finally we Driver fans have our justice, same to Test Drive 8)

Down with Atari! Lesson learned: Just because you brought back a huge name from the 70s/80s, doesn't mean you're invincible and can sell game after game and bring in $$$ just because you're Atari. Epic fail!

Yeah I find it good that Ubisoft bought the Driver license and that Reflections is now part of their studio. In one of their interviews they explained how much better they can work because they're not under time pressure, instead they concentrate to release a quality game and not to get it out before XX/XX/20XX  (which doesn't even make sense)

If there wasn't Atari, previous Driver games would have been more "finished". With Stuntman they've been lucky I guess.

Driver 2 only had a year, which is bullsh**. DRIV3R was under the same stress. I'm not sure what happened with DPL but it was definitely a good game. DSF, in my opinion, is the result of having 3 or 4 years to mess around with ideas, and look what happened...I personally love DSF but there's many things that killed it for me. Lack of updates, for one thing. We never got 70's Mode! Or any other important fixes, for that matter...we're getting Watch Dogs instead. It feels like, once Reflections finished their own game, Ubisoft is making them partner up with all of the other Ubisoft studios (which is cool and all), which leaves them with no time for their own game.

DSF is far from bad, can't find much replay value in it sadly. Also lack of support and DLC makes it collect dust even more. Don't gett me wrong, I enjoyed the 40/50 hours I have put into it (and it did manage to capture the same feeling I had with D1), but ones everything done, there's no reason to go back. New Game Plus doesn't even safe it.

I strongly disagree about the replay value. I think this is rather personal taste if you like the game and if you know how to play it, or not. Yes, you need to know how to play a game properly as well, just like you need to know how to handle a certain car or talk to a certain person, or carry a certain object. The story mode is one thing, sure, you're not going to replay it ever day. But there's so many challenges, I'm first in half of them, are you too? I doubt it :P What about online?

Seriously, since the day I've bought it (that's a year ago, when it came out for Mac) I've been playing it every day. In fact, I don't have a PS3 or such a thing. My PS2 only reads two games, and after playing DSF I don't feel like playing these anymore. I have recently got myself the PCSX emulator to play old games again, including Driver 1 & 2, but came back to DSF. I play this game every single day, for at least one or two hours, since the day I got it.

I mainly play multiplayer obviously, because that's where stuff changes. I'm not sure why some people even waste their time on moaning about "all traffic" in story mode and "AI cops" that need to be hit and I don't know what else, why not play Takedown in multiplayer, against real people? It's as much Driver as it could ever get.

Yeah DPL was a good game, felt solid. But it still had this "Driver 3" feeling, probably a reason why it didn't get so many sales. But to be honest, it got it's fair share of bugs too. Especially cars you can never get or save. The Prison Bus bug for example (even if it's added to the total number of cars in your garage, you can never drive it again), the Cerva Punk, which never appears in any mission and is only obtainable with cheats (I always thought it would be hidden somewhere in the Rosalita mission maybe :P), the Olympic Punk which I only managed to get once and never again (too hard!) and the Dolva mission truck which isn't drivable at any point in the game. But I guess that makes the game more interesting :)

I never play online, never liked it personally. Only time in DSF when I was actually online there were no proper servers to be found. Oh well, dispite my previous rant, it was/is a goty 2011 in my book.

And DPL is awesome (D1>DPL>D2>DSF>D3 imo). Glitch you described is unfortunate but hell, you still had a butt load of other awesome vehicles to collect and drive. Yeah there was only one city, but damn it was large and was set in 2 time periods, so it did fell as a complete diffirent city when you switched between the 2 time periods.

D1 > DPL > D3 > DSF > D2 for me. I'm currently stuck in the middle with DRIV3R, I love messing around with it since I have the most fond memories on that game. It's probably the 2nd most played Driver game I've played right next to Driver 2 and the original Driver.

For me it would be DSF / D1 > D3 > DPL / D2. It's a hard choice as I love each and every one of these :)

And what do you mean you don't like online play? You mean the one in DSF or generally?

Personally I've always wanted one in a Driver game and this one is just fantastic :) Basically DSF has everything I ever wanted in a Driver game. Hell, I even made a site for that game, which I had started back in 2007, where people were able to post their wishes. And those wishes have now finally come true :)

Of course for one who doesn't like online playing it means he only gets half a game, but whatever :P

I was talking about online in general. And I miss the time where games weren't focused on multiplayer (I don't say dsf does, but the fps gerne suffers from it).
