Nope, but that sounds very painful. Especially if it's full of hot, boiling water...oh god the horror

I was only boiling for about 10 seconds after I filled it with cold water, then it blew up and shut all of my electricity off. I just hope that it was the kettle, and not an electricity fault.

In my opinion they should completely ban their stuff over here. It's crazy you know, 90% of their products are already banned in Europe, yet see how many chinese trash we have everywhere. I try to avoid buying anything made in china, but sometimes you just can't avoid! There's no iPhone NOT made in china

We outsource jobs to China because of the low-cost of production. I had to listen to a business mentor talk about how she decided, in order to save money, the movie she was helping to produce/market should be released in China on the big screen, come to america as a DVD, and save tons of money...it was pretty sleazy. You think people are going to ban cheap production costs? No way. Their wallets aren't big enough!

Yes, but low cost of production = low quality = not many people buying = low revenue.

And of course they can ban their stuff. I mean, I don't know about the US, and there's most likely even more Chinese stuff over there, but the big majority of Chinese products are banned in the EU because they endanger the health of people. For example a lot of toys are forbidden because the plastic they're made out of is extremely toxic and can be a danger for people's health, especially for small kids. I never order anything that comes from China on Ebay, because I know exactly that it won't pass the customs and that I will have lost my money. I hope they completely ban their stuff (which I see happening more and more anyway, and that kind of makes sense because it means people will buy more stuff that comes from here and therefore invest money into their own country — much better!)
