Windows 8.....ugh. Something tells me it's going to flop, hard. So hard, it may lead to the end of the Windows platform.
Usually, I would argue this, but judging from how it looks and my general experience (very very poor) with it, it may not kill it, but it will hurt it a lot.

It'll be the Windows Vista of its time. Windows 7 is perfect, but with 8, they're dicking with a perfectly good formula...not good.

Ok, and which program did you use ? 3DX Ripper ? because 3DX does not rip models in T-pose, so i'm curious about the tool you are using. :)

God damn, I just can't get this out of my head... One of my best friends colleague, a friend died recently in a traffic accident while on-duty. Gets me all teary eyed... R.I.P. Deputy Sergio Aleman of the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department. End Of Watch: 7/31/12... Gone but not forgotten. My prayers truly go out for his family, friends and colleagues. I know it's hard losing someone you know, not to mention getting through it. It requires a lot of strenght and support from others.

I guess I'm the only one interested in Windows 8. I'm using the CP (too lazy to download the RP) and I liked it. I hated Metro in the beginning, but I'm starting to like it, although I do agree that it's simply not good for desktops.

For guys like them we should be proud, people who risk their lives for making a safer world, not for football players who win millions running behind a ball.

Indeed, it's a shame people don't see what these men & women go through and what stuff they face everyday. Not sure if some would even still understand the bravery of these people though. And I'm not just speaking for law enforcers, also paramedics, firefighers, and soldiers out there... They don't really do what they do for the pay, no siree. These people do it for us. To protect and keep us safe, to uphold law and keep order so we don't have to live in a total anarchy. They do it for us.

But hey, I'm guess Olympics are so friggin' cool and important.

I was talking about pro sports players who win more than any olympic sportsmen, most of olympic participants are unknown for us, i mean those who aren't sports stars in the media.

While competing in the marathon in Mexico City, Akhwari cramped up due to the high altitude of the city. He had not trained at such an altitude back in his country. At the 19 kilometer point during the 42 km race, there was jockeying for position between some runners and he was hit. He fell badly wounding his knee and dislocated that joint plus his shoulder hit hard against the pavement. He however continued running, finishing last among the 57 competitors who completed the race (75 had started). The winner of the marathon, Mamo Wolde of Ethiopia, finished in 2:20:26. Akhwari finished in 3:25:27,[2] when there were only a few thousand people left in the stadium, and the sun had set. A television crew was sent out from the medal ceremony when word was received that there was one more runner about to finish.
As he finally crossed the finish line a cheer came from the small crowd. When interviewed later and asked why he continued running, he said, "My country did not send me 5,000 miles just to start the race; they sent me to finish the race."

Football players earn millions because they make millions, though I 100% they make WAY too much money.

However, I don't agree with your point that soldiers should make more money - not some of them anyway.
I wouldn't grudge soldiers who are on peacekeeping missions making money, such as those who work with NATO.

But for soldiers from the likes of the UK, I do not support them at all. Maybe that's because I despise the Queen of the UK, but it would be the same for Americans.
I wouldn't support American soldiers either, they don't join the army to make the world safe, they join for the money - and the money in thee army is good.

I didn't say soldiers man. I meant people who risk their lives in our countries, inside. Like police officers, firemans and surgeons, etc. Not goddamn invasors sent by politicians who brainwash young people with patriotism and stuff. I'm not pro military, i'm anti war and don't support any wars because is a big business in which a lot of innocent people die. Wars don't solve problems.

If you are talking about money, the guys who really win a lot of money are the mercenaries like Blackwater. I've seen some documentary in which was said that they earn 30.000 $ per month. That was in the Iraq invasion.

Some quotes:

If my soldiers began to think, not one would remain in the ranks.
Frederick II of Prussia

War is a quarrel between two thieves too cowardly to fight their own battle; therefore they take boys from one village and another village, stick them into uniforms, equip them with guns, and let them loose like wild beasts against each other.
Don't remember who said that one.

I can understand firemen, and police to an extent.
Not that the police (or Gardaí as they're called here) really risk their lives.

I disagree with you on your point about surgeons. The majority of people become doctors and surgeons purely for the money.

In every job there's people who join for money. But i think the one's who join for money don't enjoy their job. A real doctor would join because he want save lives and cure people, not caring much about salary. But if you think about it. Being a doctor, at least here, is not easy. You have to reach very high marks in order to access to the medical university.

But without doctors and surgeons. Who will cure us?

I think that the only way that we could be surgeons is doing it like Leonardo da Vinci, stealing dead bodies from a morgue and start training with them.

Yeah, it's the same here in Ireland. To become a doctor you basically have to get all A's in your exams (of which there are 6) and you have do another test along with that
