I don't think we even have airsoft guns... I could be wrong, but I have a bad habit (read: obsession) with dating somewhat dangerous people (read: one is best friends with the son of a local biker gang) and none of them have ever had one...

We do, however, have Nerf guns, and I'm pretty sure they aren't coloured like a traffic cone for the appeal. But I've still seen guys tackled for brandishing them in public.
It's a bit ridiculous... But still, the only times I've ever seen a gun in a person's hand have been in other countries. Never here, and I used to work in a pretty dangerous place (read: my first day I was taught about hold ups. None of the same places my mates work in even got it).

I will admit though, we have issues with knives. I mean, even I carry one with me when I go out. Strictly protection though I worked at a festival in the Summer, and the security guards brought in four bins full of knives and bladed weapons. It was insane. And slightly scary. Lol.
They didn't take mine off me though... Maybe they thought I needed it... I just forgot to take it out of my bag.

Same here. They've both got some good ideas, but they haven't really been able to bring a lot of those to fruition lately. I think America's future lies with people who can bring balance, people who know that "a penny saved is a penny earned" and yet don't cut back on crucial programs, people who ain't afraid to go in guns blazin' yet see if things can't be talked out first, overall, people who don't make the government too large or too little, you know?

i think the crookedness of both parties plays a huge factor on why we're going to nowhere. republicans have a rep for being supported by country people and rich white folk. democrats have a reputation for being supported by poor people, black people, and gays.

What i cant understand is how people dont see that the government aims for certain groups on purpose. Fucck the government, fucck the republicans and f**k the democrats, im voting Independent!
