Excellent job. Have you seen these videos, man?
The Italian Job LEGO

Part 2

Sorry, I guess I do not yet know how to do the embedded video thing properly, man.

Thank you for the hyperlink, man. Is that a good place to use, then?

Wheelman75 wrote:Hey, not to sound annoying or anything, but I was wondering if you could play "The Lonely Man" from The Incredible Hulk TV series if you got the chance?
Cool song. Cool television program. I mean, unless there is a different version from the one I watched on television when I was a kid. It had a piano theme. Lou Ferigno played the angry guy, and Bill Bixby played the not-angry guy.

max.thunder wrote:Anyone is watching the football match?
Yes. It looks like it is just about to start. Here we go. Oh, that poor man got hurt. LOL! Who did the octopus pick to win tonight?

Miller wrote: Boss, you look different. Did you get contact lenses or go to the groomer or something? I know you changed something. That spectacled doggy thing was so cute. (Boy, Harlequin, talk about things coming out the wrong way.) I really liked that. What is this we are looking at now, man?
bb_42001 wrote:I just changed my display picture.
Sorry, boss. I should not have tried to be so cute, myself, instead of simply asking what your new avatar is. I thought it was some sort of Ubuntu logo until I saw a little white circle, broken in the same places, on the picture of a Half-Life video game box while browsing products at Amazon.com.

Did this place just get wider?

Harlequin wrote:I'm being forced into a Meowth costume for my friend's 21st. Her and her girlfriend are going as Jesse and James... Third Wheel alert. Lol. Unless I can come up with a better 90's costume, I think I might be stuck. But my Halloween one will be better. It's right after his 21st
Team Rocket is blasting off again! I like that show, man. My favorite Pokemon is the one called Takeapee. (A water type, I believe.) Sorry if I unwittingly just plagiarized someone else's joke there.

Miller wrote: Harlequin, how are you coping with the temptation to keep your father's Nirvana record?
Harlequin wrote:It's sitting on my dining room table. I see it about ten times a day just walking through the house. It's horrible. lmao
I might have to try and hunt down a second one. It'll probably take me years, but it means he'll get something nifty for his 50th. lmao
LOL

[EDIT] Holy smokes, did anyone see that kung fu kick to the chest at ~28:00 in? WTF?

Re:Team Fortress 2
I never played any Half-Life at all. I remember bookmarking web pages about it when I first started looking for PC games to play (before I actually bought my first PC). I specifically searched for games that included blood and dismemberment, still amazed that such a thing existed in such abundance among PC titles.

But when I actually got a rig and began buying games, it was DRIVER, Panzer Elite, Panzer Commander (both WWII armor simulators), Star Wars combat flight simulators, Jane's WWII Fighters (combat flight simulator), Mechwarrior 3 (mecha simulator), and a few WWII FPS games. I never got around to buying Half-Life, and went with the Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault and BF1942 crowds when broadband cable finally became available where I lived at the time a few years later, and I could join in on the TDM/ OBJ scene.

I remember when Moonchild wrote something like, What are PCs good for besides simulators, and who needs them? I guess I do. I read that in my country, simulators make up only about 3% of PC game sales, so I guess PCs must be good for something else, whatever it is. (I cannot recall the rest of the pie graph, so to speak.) That is going to be cool to play a DRIVER game with a simulator feel, having the driver's seat view.

Re: Did this place get wider?
I am not a very savvy computer user; things happen to my system (updates or whatever) and appearances change, and I just kind of go along with it all.

A lot of things look different all over the Internet for me this week. I do not know if I did it inadvertently or what, but web pages seem to fit my screen better and text appears larger and easier to read (nice for me, as I sit about four feet away from the monitor, and only pipe the picture through the television while watching a video or playing a game). At first I thought I must have been mashing the control button while using the mouse wheel, and just did not notice, but when I tried that in the past, some text would enlarge on a page, while other text would not, and the box things stuff is divided into would overlap. I do not see any of that happening.

By the way, man, almost immediately after I wrote thanks for telling me to try a different web browser, because it was nice to have a handy spell-check tool, my computer started going haywire. I ran scans with seven different malware removal tools but found nothing, and could not figure out what was going on. It seemed like it should not have made difference (like I would know), having just installed a different browser, but when I tried removing it, everything worked just fine again. I got spooked, so it will probably be a little while before I try something besides the infamous IE again. I have some third party addon for checking spelling now.

Re: avatar
What did I have before? It seems like it was a bottle of Miller beer. When I first found out I had cancer, and that it had already spread, I assumed it was a death sentence (jury is still out). So, I started clearing my web presence out of the way, including eventually the PC specs page my signature linked to and my avatar image. I tried making some other avatars, but never could choose one for here. When I thought about the huge (to me) screen resolutions you guys display web pages at, I figured avatars probably look like little postage stamps anyway to other people.

Maybe a word and no picture suits me, since I often use many words, but seldom actually create much of a picture with them.

Thank you for the reply, boss. I hope you and the rest of the DMC are keeping well.

Thank you for the reply, Wheelman75.

Cheers to fans of Spanish futbol and Dutch kung-fu.

If you downloaded firefox from the official firefox website, you would not get a virus..... if you did do that in the beginning, then firefox wasn't the cause, maybe a virus just latched on to it.for malware removal try this tool http://www.malwarebytes.org/.

as for the zoom, maybe you just accidentally activated the web-page zoom feature on your web browser
and you really should get a avatar again.

Thank you for the reply, boss.

That is one of the tools I ran a scan with. It came up with nothing on a full-system scan.

What is the currently recommended avatar size (dimensions, whatever)?

If it didn't come up with anything, then you had no malware on the system, that program is the best, avatar size is a max of 200x200 pixels

Yep, I know these excellent videos. I was planning to make The Italian Job from LEGO, but I didn`t have too many parts to complete it. I think I`ll go well with the Driver one :D

Also, you can try this code:
Code: Select all

Oh, wow, that was easy. Is that too big?

Thanks again, man. I will write these instructions in my notes on how to make posts here at DriverMadness.net.

Hmm, where can I go overdoes on this feature now that I am expert video smapper?

Well, as of this writing, TK, the little soccerball icon is still on the Youtube player, so you can still west any Youtube videos that have it. And if it goes away, there's still that other Vuvuzela site...

Haha /sarcasm
Sorry. I got a better costume now. It's probably one of the sluttiest 90's things I can remember... I'm probably the only one here that used to watch Sailor Moon though, so I'll spare you the details. Lol.

Yes, I am very comical.

So, Spain won. I cried. I'm sorry, but my back-up back-up team was the Netherlands. It was pretty horrible for me. I went into work on Monday night and the guys were talking about it. No-one was too impressed with the game... Sorry guys, it just wasn't that good a game.

Because I don't expect to be on for a little while, I'll give you a quick update on Harls:
1. She has a new piercing. It hurts, and is impeding her ability to eat solid food. (No joke, just had pasta, and my entire mouth is on fire.)
2. Has recently come into a bit of money (yay! It won't last long. I need a new laptop and am looking at getting a car. Boo.)
3. Oh yeah, got her licence. (Almost failed, but didn't. 4th time's the charm, apparently.)

Anything new with you boys?

iPBFree died today... I`m really disappointed, because I don`t know if this is only a maintenance or it`s temporarily died... :(

BTW, look at my avatar. Any similarities to Tanner?

Except for the mustache, it does look almost like Tanner in Lego form.

UPDATE: The little soccerball icon is now gone. On the one hand, it was pretty pointless because it would almost drown out the video's sound, but on the other hand, it was kinda fun to mess around with. If you've still got the urge to hear a swarm of angry wasps while surfing the 'net, I dug up that other vuvuzela site that TK found, which still works:

Well, I don`t have more choice... it`s the only head I have, I think, fits to Tanner`s. Here is some reference picture:

I`ll release the first video from my LEGO Driver project soon! These days I`ll receive some of the things I need, and the Mustang is 100% done. It`s all black (not with a white roof) and I`ll try to make the animation, as for the garage teaser Ubi, released before E3.
