Hello, boss. Hello, everyone else. I am way out of my depth on this matter, so sorry about that. But I am interested in seeing DriverMadness.net continue to function well, so I have some questions I hope you will not mind my asking regarding the matter.
Is DriverMadness.net management determined to use a free hosting service? Is it possible to fully meet the needs of DriverMadness.net by using free hosting? Is there any difference of real value to you guys between the free web hosting services and those that cost five or ten dollars per month?
There are very many search results that are returned when a query of "web+hosting+reviews" is entered into an Internet search engine. I find it all rather daunting. Are those places scams, or do they provide worthwhile information to consumers of Internet hosting services? There does not seem to be consensus among those "top ten" hosting-review places, so I wonder about the validity of the information on offer.

http://www.webhostingreviews.com/, for example, seems to be a legitimate resource, but I would not know what to think, or how to interpret the ratings or evaluate the features the ratings are based upon in customer reviews.

Some of the web hosting services seem to have been in operation for years. Does that necessarily indicate that they can likely be expected to continue to be there in future?
I think it may be true that my only real contribution to this joint (with the possible exception of some posts in the Driver Stories section) was sending some money to Madness in the past. Perhaps it is time I coughed up something besides malarkey again.
If you guys see some place that looks like it would meet your needs better than a free hosting service, is that something you would consider trying? Like I wrote already, man, I do not know how to evaluate these web hosting services, but it looks, to my ignorant eye, like I could just send you a couple hundred dollars, and then you would not have to worry about this sort of thing for a few years. After that, I guess you just cross that bridge when you get to it.
Anyway, I do not know what I am talking about, so I hope that does not offend. And I know you guys have money, too, I did not mean to sound patronizing. I am just trying to help find a solution. It makes me sad to see this place unstable or at risk of losing content. I do not know if you guys were only joking about it, but I would hate to see anything deleted from your archives unnecessarily.
