Yep! I know, the models aren`t the correct ones, but I`ll edit them, as soon as possible 8)
And yes, the police car is with the bulgarian/russian police pattern, because first it should be an another story, but... I`ve stopped into the original storyboard and I think that, the yellow GSX from LEGO into it`s parody will look good, but... I need more time to complete it

P.S
The poster is fake and very early beta. These days I`ll edit as a final version.

That LEGO poster rules. And that is a nice presentation you made there in your post about it, so we could see how closely your image compares with the DRIVER game image thing. I like what you did with, and said about, the Bulgarian cop car thing.

I guess can also admit that the foregoing is an absolutely perfect description of me. LOL!
Philosophy tends to be each individual's personal beliefs, depending on how you take it. And maybe I look up to you Miller. You interest me. I haven't met many people who can hold an intelligent conversation on a gaming site... No offence guys. You're just kind of young to get a lot of what I remember from "ye olden days".
Hello, Harlequin. Thank you for your nice words. That was something Biscaynes originally wrote to someone else here. I think it was Coyote, but maybe not. At the time I copied the text and made a note of who posted it, as it seemed to apply to me so well that I was laughing about it. Well, actually I hope the part about the star or whatever does not apply to me -- just that other stuff about mistaking the ordinary for something unique, or worth mentioning, just because it is new to me.

Another part of why it seemed so funny is because it reminded me of something I saw on the television. In my country (USA) there is a television program called the Late, Late Show. The host, who refers to himself as TV's Craig Ferguson, was sharing his surprise about discovering that it is not only the hair on top of one's head that turns grey with age. His guest was like, "What are you, a dumbass? What did you think was going to happen?" Ferguson goes, "But nobody told me." He's so silly.

Happy Birthday. Hope it was nice for you. For the first time in twenty years, there was no rain on mine. It was horrible. Lol.
LOL, man. So, you had one, too? I was wondering when I read something you posted about being ancient soon. Happy birthday. Sorry that is a late greeting. What day was your birthday on Harlequin? Mine was April 24. I think it is going to be on that day next year, too. (I hope so, anyway -- since we all know what it will mean if I do not have one next year. LOL)

Darn, boss, I was hoping merely switching on my cookies would magically give me access to your Stargate Sunday Tribute attachments, like it made it possible for me to view the Blogs section. I guess not. Probably it was silly of me to hope that, but it was easy to do, due to my ignorance about such things. I remember seeing other members' blogs before (I can access my own even without cookies enabled). I guess those other times I must have dropped in here immediately after visiting my email or bank account, and had the cookies switched on still, which, until now, I never really bothered with to visit DriverMadness.net. For some reason, I do not like using cookies online (I know, futile choice of things to resist, all things considered - LOL).

Okay, see you all in -- what was it, six months? LOL

It's pretty cool. What did you use and does it have a magnifying tool? It'd probably look better without white spots...

I know that show ;) It used to be hosted by Tom Snyder. lol. Never seen it though. One of the horrible things about living on the other side of the world, and all...
I watched the Late Show with David Letterman last night. I like him. I was about to watch the greatest movie ever, and instead got insanely distracted by how funny he was... I stayed up two extra hours just so I could watch him on free-to-air and cable. lmao

Mine was the 27th. So close! Lol! I don't want a birthday next year. I'd like to become like Peter Pan. If I get any older, people will expect things of me (on the other hand, I can go to the US and get hammered... Decisions, decisions!)
I'm sure we'll all be around to celebrate another year of life... Hopefully. Don't do anything stupid and we should be good ;)

You seem to have a head plumb full of trivia, Harlequin. I, of course, am full of something else.

Man, I was watching Tom Snyder one night (like thirteen years ago), and he was interviewing Ray Davies of The Kinks. I felt really uncomfortable viewing that segment of the show. The dude asked Davies what bands he liked that are out now (were out then, whatever). Davies said he liked Blue. Snyder goes, "Bleh?" and commented on what a strange name was, I think. So, Davies told him he was saying, Blue.

It got kind of awkward, and Snyder seemed to be groping for something to say next, so he started asking about the gap between Davies's front tetth. "Do you ever think about having that fixed?" LOL I know, man. I was like, WTF?

I think Letterman is funny. I guess I might not like him as much if my politics leaned toward the right instead of to the left.

The greatest movie ever? Harlequin, what movie is that, then?

I am surpised to learn just how popular American TV shows are in other countries. It seems that for many years we (USA) have had a lot of BBC programming and a fair amount of Spanish language television stuff, since there is a large Latino population in the USA, but I never noticed much else from other countries on TV here.

What do I know? I am a bit out of touch when it comes to television. I only have about five channels of TV service, and the only reason I mess with that is because my cable ISP charges less for Internet service and what it calls 'limited basic television' than it does for Internet service alone.

LOL! Hey, the twenty-seventh of April, eh? That is pretty close, man. Well, we are the same sign of the Zodic or whatever it is called, I guess. No wonder we cannot get along at all.

Now I am too old to get hammered, I suppose. Nah. I am just trying to beat this cancer thing. I broke down and had a couple pints of beer and a cigarette earlier this month, though. Not a bad tally for the first half of the year, I guess. The beer was good, but to tell the truth, I thought the cigarette tasted awful, which was kind of a surprise.

Yeah. Good words. Hey, thank you for the replies and comments, Harlequin. I hope you have been keeping well.

Highster11, good luck with your project. That is too cool, man.

Greetings to you, Biscaynes. I hope things are good with you, too, man.

I have check it, too. Their idea to re-present the classic game into their homepage is very original!

Well, I`m not too stupid to think that USSR is still alive. I just write it as a.... but I`m sorry that I write it....
But, Biscaynes, are you make that models with LEGO bricks? I think that you are used Technik or something similar as the old russian building kits?

Not only in Russia  Look at eurobricks forums. They are full of LEGO sets information, reviews, MOC`s, etc. (this isn`t advertisement!) and they are European forum for AFOL`s (that meant: Adult Fan of LEGO  )

I made platform with technic and the body with russian lego. That russian lego is meant to represent military vehicles. I had to edit photos in order to hide the green colour. This car really needs a new paint job. :)

I like the idea of a collage that you've made, dude. It also seems like I was the first guy who came up with a similar idea. I lined up the bus, the police car and Olds '73 in Driver 2 the way they resembled Driver 2 wallpaper and made a screenshot. Also I was the first guy who played the whole driver 2 storyline on psp, coz russian hackers made a single cd of Driver 2 and despite pal region screen aspect somehow looks like ntsc, that means everything looks proportional. Who ever wants to buy it from me, pm me.

They are one of the best of the world!!!

Well, I don`t want to copy anyone`s idea, but my idea for the poster was to make "DRIVER: Balkan Trip", which should be an a comedy, with Tanner and all his enemies and the story should begin in Bulgaria, on the seaside in Varna (which isn`t similar city as Miami, but the seaside is  ), but when I read once again the draft.... :? It`s like as a total crap. I need to write better storyboard!

P.S
Isn`t there any difference at the USSR Lego and the original? Just asking, because, in a lot of countries were maked parodies of LEGO, but they has a bit/ a lot differences from the original.

I don't know if USSR made a LEGO copy but when i was a kid in Ucraine i remember to see the official LEGO and a chinese copy called Brick
It's hard to put together pieces of original LEGO and a copy piece because a lot of times they don't fit properly between them
The chinese version have poor materials (bad quality plastic) compared to the original

Sounds great!

Once I made a comedy on Driver 2 but later it was deleted cause I felt like I kind of sucked, however comments said "rofl" even though noone was able to understand anything cause I spoke russian)) Later I made better stuff, such as Driver 2 Madness show. It currently features on youtube and partly on dailymotion.

I wonder how the story begins in Bulgaria. Can't wait till that comes out!

It`s called "Enlighten Brick" and everyone hates it. Also it`s illegal:read here
There is written that "More than 54,000 copies of LEGO products were destroyed" In Russia. Also there are a lot of "companies" which are creating illegal copies. Well, I will never buy fake chinese copy of LEGO, because of their bad quality. But, LEGO is one of the greatest hobbies of the world I think, because not only children are playing with it, for example, in the european lego forum aren`t allowed peoples under 18yrs old

P.S
To begin "Balkan Trip" first I need to buy the things I need - roadplates, baseplates, bricks, parts and a lot of money to buy them. Well, this year I started to buy kinda a lot of these, and totaled near 150€ which are a lot of money!
