Nice Song BB, it makes a refreshing change to my metal obsessed listening habits!

RE any idea that buying newer, more intelligent and greener cars on mass for the environment's sake is just bollocks as you have to
1. Scrap the lovely auto-mobile that has been displaced by the new one
2. Build the new car, which will use more energy than a car could use in a number of years!
3. Things like batteries and other "green" components are heavy to lug around, often come from halfway around the world and themselves use many chemicals of dooooom!

Actually, Cash for Clunkers ended a few months ago. Even if it was still going, vehicles 25 years or older are protected against destruction.
They wanted to start something like that in SA, but I can't remember if they ever got around to it... It's a good idea though, prevents horrible pieces of crap from killing people...

This is the truth. Old cars really weren't made to last 30 years into the future, so best we be rid of them.

Some of them are fantastic... I love the old style Caddies, and GM did quite a few decent older cars. But then there are the ones that should have been put down about two weeks after they were made, and those continue to be the ones that are junkers/clunkers/whatever the hell your country of choice calls them.

I got 2 parts in the school play. I get to play 2 Frenchman in different parts of the play. They're smaller parts, but are good enough for me. I never auditioned, but I was recommended by two teachers. One teacher knows me for my humor, and the other for my acting skill. They were looking for a guy who can do accents, which I can do, and now I get to teach a friend how to speak with a Russian accent.

They could be sold to museums or be kept by collectors. Maybe in a future, we could show to our grandchildren when cars used to have wheels. :D

Uh, no. Ford Pinto anyone? Chevy Chevette? The Gremlin?
Now be silent. Efficiency > crap from the 70's.
Don't like it? Too bad.

I doubt you have either. I can read well enough to know that those were major lemons. And I don't hate 70's cars, but what Ihate are lemons and god complexes,, the latter which you have.

So you're trying to say I'm illiterate? I have a college reading level, and plus, I've read up on the Gremlin and the Pinto.Plus, if by efficiency you mean MPG,then they got damn good MPG,even by todays standards. The l4 on the Pinto gets 23 MPG city, and 35 MPG highway. The estimates for the Gremlin are most likely the same.

Also, BB....can I have my PMing ability back?

Not even close to what I meant. I meant that I can read about this. By the times these shitstains were fixed, nobody wanted them, IF they were fixed. What you are is stupid enough to have a god complex.

In look, I prefer this one over the US and European one. But besides it, it's horrible. Specially when you see a riced one (and there are a lot of them in here).
