As some of you may know I got this problem too. Game runs fine at 60 FPS, but as soon I start a chase, BUM, goes down to 15 FPS.
Is there a way to fix this? I really can't find any solution on Google.

I didn't experienced any FPS drops when starting a chase, i will try to keep a longer chase to see what happens.

Just got some support on Steam forums... They say my processor doesn't go well with Driver because the AI cars take a lot of CPU and GPU usage. So I have to change processor, possibly a Quad Core.

Yup, I remember my friend had this issue with races too. He had to upgrade his PC.
