Yeah I find it extremely annoying, especially because on Mac and PC there's obviously a ton of cheaters. Some are obvious (with times like 0.013 seconds for a track that takes a few minutes at least), but others are less obvious. For example I was second worldwide in the president's mission, and the guy who was first had 10 seconds less than me on the leader board. I was wondering how this is possible because 80% of the track is just highway, so there isn't really anything you could do wrong? There's really only one corner (a big left corner in the beginning) that you need to take, which I managed to take at full speed when there was no traffic.
So I decided to add his name, and then I went to a few other challenges. I selected "Friends leader boards" and noticed he was cheating in other challenges, with impossible times like I mentioned before (0.013 seconds etc). So I figured out that he was probably cheating in that challenge too, but it wasn't as obvious. Extremely annoying… and hard to spot!

You see, it's really weird. It happens when someone joins the game or when someone gets kicked from the match. It's very rare however, since I've been playing I've had this only a few times. The Alfa is the default multiplayer car, you get the same effect when you're in the lobby: Select a car, then swap to this car, then go back to the select menu and change it to another car. You will see that your car will swap to an Alfa. You can shift out of the car as well. Just put it somewhere, then change it to another car in the menu and it will change to an Alfa (with no steering wheel!). Not sure how it works in matches, but it's all linked together someone. I've also had this happening with an Audi S5 in qualify. Someone left qualify and my car suddenly swapped to an Audi S5. That's happened twice to me so far!
You can also notice that if a player leaves a match, and that he had his "own" car (that he spawned) before, when he leaves the match his car will turn into an Alfa.
Well it's all very weird… I guess it has to do with some kind of delay or lag issues from the server side, which makes other people reset everyone else's car. It's really always been when someone who lagged so much was kicked out, or when someone who lagged a lot joined the match. Which is nearly impossible because the game doesn't let you join matches when you lag, instead you will be playing with different players who don't have a good connection either. Probably they did this to group players by their internet speed, to avoid people annoying each other. Or at least that's what it seems to be.
But whatever!! I don't need to mess with this anymore (Well I don't need to tell you, you've watched my video!
) and thank god that's the case, it was one of the things I really hated. Ok just wanted to explain you, enough off topic now
That was really exciting! I wish I could have kept it, it's so rare to see this! And I was so sure that I had seen this (before already), because there was some moments when I was at the complete other side of the city, preparing road blocks in front a checkpoint, when suddenly I saw a cop car cruising around. I was never sure if it might not have been from another player, and the car went cruising alone after he shifted out, but this now confirms that there's in fact cop cars cruising around during Takedown, and not necessarily the ones you're playing in that match.
