Hi.
I haven't any idea, where I should write this post.

I need somebody config his Driver on lower resolution and send me config.dat file.
I can't do it personally, because I have Vista and config.exe shows an error during testing configuration. I would like to force it.

I need this configuration:
Default device
320x240
16bpp
NO triple buffering

If you do it, please post link here or send me PM

I tried, but i have the same error on XP, even with the compatibility mode, it doesn't works.

Why such low settings?

BTW, just change your settings to 640 X 480 and you should be fine

No, Dr.Doom, I can use 640x480 on my notebook too.

Why so low settings? Because I wondered, why PSX Driver was so dynamic, and the PC version is so "slooooow". Among other things, I think it is the cause of this impression. But it is just an idea, I don't know if it will work.

I think it seems slower because the pc version runs super smoothly, while the ps1 can't handle 60fps. I might be wrong though. Btw i can't set it that low either on my Vista.

i tried on vista. he gave me an error, so impossible to save de config

hmm.. i don't know, maybe modifying the Dat is possible?

Obviously modifying the game to your specifications just won't work. Have you tried setting it to 640 X 480 yet? 320 X 240 is too small, I hate to tell you.

i tried, but it doesn't make the effect. so, i have to give up...

PC DX6 Engine is one story, while PSX Engine is another. The PC one was legendary build (by the time), to handle even more stuff as compared to PSX one. Just example - high resolution. So.. I can send configuration, but it basicly useless - why to play in 320px mode instead of 1024px, eh?
