Online multiplayer? Really? Man, this would've been so fun! It's a shame they didn't include this in the game. Hopefully, Driver: Working Title (or The Recruit or whatever the heck it's referred to nowadays) will correct this. It would be even better if DWT included offline multiplayer too.

Speaking of leftover text, the Nintendo 64 Gameshark Pro has a feature called the "Memory Editor" that allows you to sift through text in whichever game you have plugged in.

But seriously what modes would you like to see in multiplayer modes (online), Races*, deathmatches, an arena (no respawn deathmatch), tag*, capture the flag*, cops and robbers* or one of your own modes, give me your thoughts...

All of those are fine. I also have a couple of other suggestions:

*Perfect Dark had a multiplayer mode called "Pop A Cap" where one player was designated as the "victim" & had to stay alive for as long as possible. The "victim" got 1 point for every 60 seconds they were still alive. If the "victim" was killed, a random player became the "victim" and the killer got 2 points. This could be played either as a free-for all game or team game. This would be fun to have in Driver.

*There was also another game mode in Perfect Dark called "Hold the Briefcase". In this mode, players had to pick up a briefcase & hold it for as long as possible. Every 30 seconds the briefcase is held, the player holding it gets 1 point. This could also be played free-for-all or teams & would be fun to have in Driver.

*On a non-Perfect Dark related note, I think it would be nice to have some sort of "smuggler" game mode in the next Driver game. Here's how it works: The teams are split into "cops" & "criminals". One member of the "criminal" team has to pick up some contraband & deliver it to a certain destination. The cops have to prevent delivery of the contraband, but they have no idea who's carrying it.

Er...how do you mean? Do you mean that the smuggler himself is an NPC?

In that case, that's not what I meant. The smuggler is a human-controlled player.
However, your question gave me the idea for a co-op variant of this game mode where all the players are either on the cop or criminals team.

He/she can do either. However, if the other people on the criminal team are trying to protect the smuggler, that's just a big red flag for the cops. Also, this mode does not require vehicles.
