Does anyone know any REAL cheats for Driver on the Playstation?

You mean combinations such as R1+L1+O+âˆ†+X etc ?

There are no cheats of that type in Driver (1).

Doesn't matter now.

I've finished the game, and yes there are cheats like that in Driver.
I got them today.

Yes there are.

Go to gamefaqs.com. They have them listed there, unless you're using a PAL version, which I know nil about.
