Currently I'm offering everyone with a Driver Related Site some free hosting to get their Driver Related website up and running. So if you've previously owned a Driver site or if you currently can't find a place to put your new site or if your thinking about creating a DRIVER related site you can have it hosted here for free. Also if you know someone who owned a driver related website and it's disapeared notify them off us and you can post on their behalf or they can register and tell me that they want to host their site here, alternativly you can contact me via. madness.productions@gmail.com

So here is all the information you'll need to know:
-We can sort out as much webspace as you need
-Your allowed to use a few databases (database users and passwords can be set up by me) - we perfer you use MySQL databases.
-You can transfer your exsisting domain to point to our nameservers. So you can have your domains, letsay you owned http://www.driv3rcars.com you could point it to http://www.drivermadness.net/driv3rcars
-We can't accept downloads, however we can organise something out, small files are allowed <1MB but after that I'll work something out for you.
-You won't have direct ftp access, but this can be aranged overtime...

-Your Website must be 100% driver related
-Your website must not contain any illegal content or anything obscene

Well currently Zoton2 is working on a Driver: Parallel Lines FMV's site and he is doing a good job to.

Currently what i'm asking for is just something a little bit different, like maybe those websites from those old Driver projects for those creators like the mission script creators and things like that. There are many sites out there just of small driver projects. Currently if anyone has a small project even like a driver stunt team, were a group of people make a website showing off there teams greatest stunts.

It's all up to you, if you have an idea and want it hosted here we can find you some space to host it.

And if you need forums we can set you up one here, in the Featured section.

So if you have an idea, post it here and I will be able to tell you if it can be hosted here.

And if your website is very big we may have to talk about ads being applied onto your site, however it is unlikly that I would force these on to you for a small project site.

Cool Cool, So um how do i get started

Well it might be a good idea if you can tell me your ideas so I can find the best way to get started. I'd say the easist way and the best way is to create something in Macromedia Dreamweaver or something basic in Word 2000 since that had some great Web Authoring tools packaged with it.

yeh, that's in Microsoft Office 2000, I noticed in all the other ones the Web Development tools were very plain.

Also note that I've just mentioned some easy to use Web Developing tools. There are many more advanced ones out their.

Moonchild is helping me with the site, and we made something called 'bar of death' and when it reaches 100% I'll close the site.

The DPL-list site is so slow …
And as I say, it's always bad to make a site in WYSIWYG, DPL-list has been made with Joomla! which doesn't seem to be very good

Well Joomla is the best CMS out their.
It's just slow because I screwed up the entire menu system. Every page that loads has to load almost 1000 menu items, I decided to cache it on the server so it runs a lot faster but we still have the entire problem.

So that's why I have decided to make a very lightweight driverwiki, which will contain all the information which is supposed to go on DPL-List. The dpl-list failed a life, mainly because I never considered the menu problem.

I could get it to pull segments off the server with ajax technology whenever it is required but that's a lot of work so to make it faster I cached it but it's still pretty slow. So the only project I'm thinking about is the DriverWiki as it pretty much contains all my plans from the driver list to the driver: working title list.
