On multiple web sites I have found a cheat/hint posted that I can't find and was just wondering if anyone knows if its real or can get to work. The cheat/hint is as follows:

Customize car
In the 1977 Era, go out of your safe house, then turn right. Then keep on straight until you find an alley way. In it you can find a place where you can customize your car with new wheels, body kit, side skirts, front, bumper, etc. Note: It is not available in the 2006 Era.

Its probably not real considering the site mistaked the year for 1977 instead of 1978.

That fake cheats to use guns, create new cars, a new city, secret missions and others.

I agree, so many people seem to upload fake/false cheats everywhere.
I remember the mini-stuntman and/or pac-man games, in the mall in driv3r.
It never existed. Just some annoying person annoying the world.

Also in Driver 1, there is a "cheat" that unlocks that unlock a mission called "sniper the president" in this "mission" you have to kill the president. These people just do idiot things...
