Ok get this (its legit too, so read the whole thing), yesterday, me and ma homie were talking about Saints Row one and two. We did NOT know anything about saints row 2, we didnt even know the game had been announced, but we were talking about it and thinking of all the wonderful things we could do in the second version because the first one was so cool.

Well I am in high school,and it is exam week (last two are tommarrow, yes!) so I got to school about 45 minutes before classes started, now i figured id get there early just to relax before I had 195 minutes of straight exams with no break, until we get out at 11:00. (hey, a little more than two hours of school aint bad right?) So as I was chillin with one of my friends, the friend I was talking to yesterday about Saints Row 2 came behind me, tapped my shoulder and oh-so-excitedly smiled and said "Yo man I got something I need to show you!!" and threw his books down and then in between his books he pulled out a game magazine, and on the front cover headline, it read: "Saints Row 2"

So I was like "ooohhh sh*t are you serious?!" and he said it was ironic we were talking about the game yesterday and he found that magazine later on that same day after school let out. We were looking at the articles written about the game. The screens look cool, it still plays in Stillwater, seems to continue the first one...

To you all this may seem a little over-emphasized, but Im sorry, Its just that the people on the board I posted this on dont know me.

But this is awesome, Character customiztion is supposed to be through the roof! The handling is supposed to be better too. The game I think is supposed to be taking place a few years later then the first one, were we were left off with a cliff hanger.

Who cares it it's over emphasized. That can just be called your style, as for the game itself, haven't seen the first game but have been looking for it. And i also like character customizing, that's pretty much the reason i have tiger woods 07.

Sorry, maybe I should have revised this before I posted this, I posted this yesterday, meaning today is Friday and I tookt them today. But thanks, I appreciate it anyway.

I think that the PS2 version of Saints Row I was cancelled- sorry. But they might come out with a PC version or by the time it comes out you might have a PS3 or XBox, who knows?

I love character customization becasue it gives the game that one little bit of "umph" that it needs to make it awesome. The first one had a huge veriety of choices in Physical appearence and clothes. In the next one there will not only be added options, but they will have female options as well! So that will be exciting. However, the only down part to that is you can't have much character dialouge, like in the first one, Your character spoke only like... 4 times- In the whole game, while all of the other characters had these huge conversations. But, it HAS been confirmed that the gamers' character will be able to speak, so this ought to be interesting.

It's kind of a GTA Clone, well what most of the community call clones, but it isn't a clone a clone is an exact copy of a DNA segment otherwise known as an exact copy of something.

But they might come out with a PC version or by the time it comes out you might have a PS3 or XBox, who knows?

I would never be able to run a PC version, i would be lucky to run Sims 2.
And as for the PS3 thing. There is an option which i am considering, where i can by a 40 gig PS3 for half it's normal price, if i give in my ps2 and all the games i have. Unfortunatly this means trading in driver, but the 40 gig isn't backwards compatable so it's not like i could play it any more if i could keep it. So i dont know what to do.

Well, I know a lot of girls that would play this game. Some of them might not buy it but every npw-and-then a lot of my friends come over so they would probally play it here. [at my house]

I know. It was mainly Rufus, or that girl or someone else talk. It was very weird when he talked that is true, his lines were short and cold. I sure hope it is a good game, if it is any better than the first one, This game should kick ass. I read a press realease on the game and they even said that it should blow GTA: IV away, and you know that the press is very GTA favorritised. So if even the press thinks it will be good, this game should be awesome.

That's a huge call, and the press are usually sinical bastards who mock anyone who tries to look good so they really shouldn't evaluate games. What makes them more qualified than you or I. They are still biased towards games and against certain genre's like we would be, but they rarely ever give amazing reviews.

And the GTA is looking to be quite good, and considering i don't really support GTA this is big for me to say. I'll look out closely for these two games competition, should be interesting.

Well with that being said, I just found some new Info on the game.


-Game is set 15 years after the original.
-Many things in the city have changed.
-Character Customizer will have many new features.
-Helicopters will be featured in the game.
-Some areas will be accesible only by Planes or Boats

Not necesarily, just cause it's set in the future doesn't mean you can't be the guy from the last game. Something could have happened in that time related to events of the first game that will get described in the opening movie and you continue from there.

New Information:

-The game is set fifteen years after the original, and many areas have changed
-Planes and boats will be needed to access some areas
-There are now helicopters too
-The graphics have been improved, with no more pop-ups as you stroll around
-The weather effects are “impressive”, such as heat effects, rain and so on
-When it rains, pedestrians get their umbrellas out
-Other characters can be used as human shields
-If you are being chased, you can shoot your pursuer in the nether-regions. He will fall to the floor, and other pedestrians will gather round to check on him, thus meaning you can get away that much easier
-The “Freak Generator” is the internal name for the new clothing palettes. Every character in the game can now be customised, so your bros and hoes can be clad out in anything you like
-The developers have listened to the wants of fans, and will now include “mini-achievements” for special stunts that occur
-You can use limpet mines on cars, walls and even the backs of your enemies
-If you decide to car surf this time around, you’ll need to maintain your balance with the analog stick
-THQ want to give Volition enough time to finish the game this time around, so no rushing it out onto store shelves here. With GTA IV on the way, it needs to be damn good
-There will now be a co-op mode, by Xbox Live or a local network*
-Cribs will now be fully customizable, so you can kick it with your own style.
