Hmm I'm not sure. I've owned it on PC before, ages ago...I recently just purchased a brand new copy of the original boxed version (with no Atari affiliation) and was wondering this. There are also "jewel case" copies of it, and also copies that Atari pressed with their big ass name on it with a special look at Run the Gauntlet (promotional film for Driv3r [got that from a Driv3r preorder]). Anyways, would anyone know if there's an actual difference in the game releases gameplay wise?

As far as I know, these were and are what you can buy:
Original 1st press box
2nd press jewel case
Atari press smothered w/Driv3r spam on a jewel case

There probably isn't, but nothing is clarified on retail sites and I've found nothing on the web.

Okay just installed and the command line says it's running "Driver v1.2"

Anybody want to share what version theirs is?

Mine's 1.3. I think that might be just because of the patch though. And i have no idea which release mine is, i have no trace anywhere of the CD or box, I don't even remember how i got it.

Well I know I have a few different versions of the game. I don't have the version number of my oldest copy because it doesn't seem to display it.

But I got a copy from a magazine promoting driv3r and it's version was 6.3w.
Well I'll need to confirm that because that is from shear memory and could be wrong but I'm sure that's what I seen.
