Im new on this of Driver, i already make mods and tune games like mm1, mm2 and gta vice city and gta san andreas.

Im from mexico, so i speak spanish.

WHERE DO I CAN FIND MODS AND COOL STUFF FOR DRIVER AND DRIVER 2 FOR PC?

IS THERE ANY DRIVER ONLINE MULTIPLAYER?

ANY MOD FOR DRIVER LIKE THE GTA SAN ANDREAS MULTIPLAYER?

Hey Hugo,

I am not sure if there are mods and cool stuff for driver 1, but im sure there are no cool stuff for driver 2 since there's no Driver 2 for PC lol

I also believe there are no driver multiplayer mods, but GTA does have a program called MTA (Multi Theft Auto) which allow you to join online servers. Click here to go to MTA webpage

yeah i know all about gta, i already say that i was a mod creator for these games, i was creating a total conversion called GTA MEXICO, using vice city, but was a lot job because nobody help me.

I didnt know about the no existence of driver 2, because i was downloadng from the emule plus:

Well this is a driver FANSITE
and I can get you lots of Driver 1 Mods from our Download Database

I'll also have to upgrade the Driver 1 mods because it appears that I have added none; so i'll re-upload them all for you.

Sadly the only kind of mods you can create for Driver are only Mission Scripts and that's all we really know about.

The things that can be modified or changed for driver are missions, textures, cars, add building, mak new cities? like mm1? or not?

well i just know the teory about...

If there is a file like mainscreen.drv and everybody know that is the mainscreen but this have a diferent extension, if you change it to something like mainscreen.bmp (old games use bmp and png), meaby you can open de image, but if this dont work, the format of the file is diferent, so what do you can do?

Reverse Inggeniering

Open de file with a debugger like w32dasm or ollydbg and look in the head, you have to dump in memory but before change the head to a format like a bmp image, when you do clic on play on the debuger you can see the file like a normal bmp, now you can dump in memory and save it.

This is just the teory, the practice is more hard. I know something about doing this. Inclusive i know how to decrypt the files if have some protection, but i dont know open files like music.dat (80MB) that have a lot files inside, i think that files like music.dat (80mb) work like a zip file and you just need to do the same than a file like mainscreen.drv

The examples are just illustratives.

Driver looks very easy to mod, i gonna look a little but not too much because is addictive, not?

Well everyone could use a fair bit of help for modding things like the textures and the mapping side of things

Where also looking for extra help in mapping DRIV3R and doing many other things with the game which has not become possible unless you can decrypt these files in anyway which I've tryed and haven't had much success but I have had a little success.
