You know? I'm not interested with "on side" projects, I'd rather know how to mod ambient light and lev files in original D1.

I'm still but it's actually on hang, as struggling with vehicle pool and some other stuffs made me sick of this.

Anyway, I've successfully made a spectate mode (remote vehicle control). Just missing rotation and elevation (Game's up axis is weird...) (talking about mutliplayer on Driver's engine this time!)

OFC I'm modifying Driver, what would be the point of making a multiplayer in IV just for Driver as there is already a mp? xd

Porting Driver to IV is just a HOBBY PROJECT for when Driver's code drives me out!

Will you use UDP/IP protocol?

For now these are just basic RTC calls. (altrough it may work over a virtual LAN client)
I'll maybe use RakNet for when it will be more advanced. For now I need to D3D hook the game in order to get some text and a gui displayed. I may also try to use an external input receiver, since the one from Driver has sometimes ghosting problems... (And thus opening support for x360 controller, and to a GUI with mouse support)

Do not expect huge stuffs since it's my first experience with such kind of mod, altrough it goes forward slowly but surely.
