On the vehicle's texture, you can see that the beta version of the headlight remained and also the fender to the rear. Also notice the low beta texture on the roof.

Unfortunately yes, this would require to modify the 3d model.

Could it be possible putting texture elements (like police logos, etc) from Austin Maestro over Citroen CX texture?

Yeah Taras, it`s possible with Photoshopping, but we will need modelling and dummy placing to get another police car working in Driv3r. I did custom makeover cars from Driv3r and DPL bits of models. The effect was nice :P

If you try to put a "police" or another logo on the side of the citroen cx or another civil car, the logo will be reversed on the right side of the car, i already tried it. Lateral textures are duplicated symmetrically.

I know this one - that`s why they used secondary flat makeover part covering separate texture. This one is for all police cars from the three cities, also. So what left - making these mods outside Driv3r and porting models to GTA or MM2 :wink:

I started a GTA 3/VC mod car conversion from Driv3r long time ago, but never finished it.

Maybe it's possible but hard :D
Some time ago, I have done a search with a hex editor, and i discovered that the 3d models could be in a directx file format ( *.X extension ).
Examples i found :
Z:\Driver 3\D3Art\Exported\MODELS\MIAMI\SOUTHBEACHCENTRAL\INTERIOR\POLICESTATION_L_DAY.X
Z:\Driver 3\D3Art\Exported\MODELS\MIAMI\SOUTH POINT PARK\INTERIOR\TANNERS PAD\THE PAD_L_DAY.X
