I've only played it about once (before I got rid of my Xbox), I quickly stopped playing because of the constant use of "f**ker". (I was about 10 at the time)

It was still fun... Although, I never got past the first mission.

Yes, they do chris. There's also reference to drugs in the game. Sexual references as well *.

*SPOILER WARNING: Lap dance in one of the cutscenes.

I can get alcohol reference by my parents. I don't know about the language though...

If you understand French or Spanish, you can play the game with one of those languages, as the voice acting language changes as well. So you'll not hear any "mother******", but it's french/spanish version of swearing.

I just got it for the PC yesterday...

A lot funner than I remember.

Most of the swearing and sexual reference stuff is in the cutscenes, so you can just skip those. But some of the pedestrians cuss a lot. ut, you'll barely hear them because of the music/cops tailing you.

Of course. You can tune your car in both the appearence and performance like nitrous. You can add bulletproof tires and windows to your car. Depending of the mission, there are "checkpoint". If you fail, you won't need to do the whole mission again. There are side games like repoman and street racing. The survival is there as well. You can collect stars in the city which will unlock some stuff.

GET IT NOW! :D

There were checkpoints in Driv3r too. Man Parallel Lines sounds cool.

I also was thinking about what to get it for. I was either gonna get it for XBOX(NOT 360), PS2, or PC. I can't make up my mind. Which should I get it for?

I am kind of trying to save up hard drive space for next gen console games that also have a PC version. I am not planning to get a next gen console when computer games will always have the best graphics. I guess I could always get an external hard drive or SATA drive. You know, what the heck. I think I might get the PC version because it has custom soundtrack, it tops the other console graphics, I can mod it, and I am getting an XBOX 360 wired controller for my computer soon.

(If you didn't know this) You can turn down the amount of traffic in the PC version, too.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I just have a few more questions about Parallel Lines before I slip the money out of my wallet.

1. Does it have the Driving Games that Driver 1-3 had?
2. Does it have Take A Ride?
3. Are there boats?
4. Can you start the mission mode over at any mission(Replay Mission) without losing your data like in Driv3r?
5. Does it show the car damage anywhere in there(a damage meter)?

1° All the Driving games are integrated into the game.

2° The take-a-ride is integrated in the game as well, as there's no frontend menu in the game. So if you want to start a survival mode, you'll have to hit into a certain doughnuts seller.

3° No. You can't swim either. If you fall in the water, you'll simply respawn near by.

4° No.

5° No. Only the life bar of the character is shown.

Damn. Now I see why people compare Driver to GTA. Oh well. I guess I could always start a new game save if I wanted. I forgot to ask one question. Can you switch between eras?
