I was messing around with the mission file 46. I made the following change:

Normally at "SetPlayerPosition -255, 418712 //Car Park in Bal Harbour
SetPlayerYRotation 2091"

When i typed the new message in, I wind up in the water

I was wondering though, have any of you tried and failed as miserably as I have?

Try Driver Co-ordinates Ripper.

Or Driver Mission Configurator, but that's easy stuff. With Coordinate Ripper you have to be at some location, restart the race, then at your root directory of Driver, find STARTPOS.X, drag it to get_coord_v2.exe and you get the coordinates.

This kind of information is really, really old. We have a program that does this kind of work for you, as RacingFreak has said. A simple search on the forum (or in the tools) would have answered your question.
