I'm still working on the importer (I'm slow aren't I ) and I figured I'd give a little update about what I'm working on at the moment. I have just recently started to import models, although in a simplistic manner. The car importer still needs a lot of work before it is done. Right now I'm working on a couple of exe patches. One that I just completed is for fixing the model buffer size. It was overflowing with some new higher detail models, but now it will always be the right size. The other patch I'm working on is a patch to allow for more available textures at one time. This will mainly be used so that textures for custom wheels can be added if need be. Once I finish that I'll start working on the wheel importing section of the importer. I'll give you guys a picture if I get that working.

Also, I guess I'll start looking for beta testers now, even though the importer won't be done for some time. This way I can be sure to get more testers, and more of a chance to find bugs. If you are interested then send me a pm with your email so that I can send it to you when the beta is released. It will most likely be a closed beta until the kinks are worked out.

Overall, very nice to hear something about the works on importer and patch. Keep good work, I can't wait I'm very impressed.

It's possible that you'll have time by the time it is released, so don't worry about that. Even if you don't there will be other beta testers I'm sure. I'll make a beta release topic too, so if you are free by then you could try it out. Otherwise you can just wait until it is all nice and bug-free, and check it out then if you want .

How do you think... why is "Driver 1 modding corner" dead for about... 6? 4 months? Because we all wait for your importer and vertex fix
