In the first driver game,when i drove through the city in TAKE A RIDE, i could get chased down by the cops through out the city.

I want to know does driver 3 still have that feature?

I found the game at a store and i'm thinking of buying it.

Yeh, it has all that and you can even get out of the car and shoot... thats only if you feel like it in DRIV3R's Take A Ride. DRIV3R also has a Replay feature which is really good!

I'd suggest you to buy it. It's the best!!!

Ok so if i break any laws in Take a Ride the cops will chase me down ?

Also are there any cheats for the PC version that will open all the cities ?

Is there a mission editor for driver 3 [ i have 1 think ,2 of them for driver 1.

I actually enjoy playing the take a ride and being chased by the cops in driver 1 than playing the missions.

If you break any laws police will chase you down!
There is also an option to have no cops if you wish!
You can use a trainer and that'll activate all the cheaps and more... i'll be adding trainers to the download section of this site soon and i'll post a link.

There currently is no mission editor but there is a texture editor where you can change textures in the building and cars and everything which has textures... This will also be added to our download database soon...

How do I use the Replay thing? How can you make a MOVIE?

Using the Film Director is a very great feature and I won't rest until anyone knows how to use it so I'll tell you all the basics now and if there is still anyone who dosen't know how to use it I may make a detailed tutorial showing you how to use it.

But for now you can use this; (I haven't played PC version of DRIV3R for a while so I might not have all the correct details, as i'm currently am using the XBOX and PS2 version as my computer keeps on crashing when I play anygame for some reason)

Now when you pause or fail a mission you can click on a button called "Film Director" click on that to enter Film Director mode.

Now right now you should see many different buttons click on add new camera, and then you can choose between many cameras.

Now it's kinda hard for me to explain because i'm getting this totally out of my memory since I have no access to any games at the moment but when I do i'll make a small tutorial.

If you require any further assistance, I'll get straight onto that tutorial and they tutorial may include videos and images, and not to forget good old text.

Yeh, That kinda fixed it as I installed Windows on another HDD in my computer and when I wanted to play DRIV3R I changed the IDE cables on my HDD. Sadly i had to swap cables since I had Windows XP and Windows Vista both on my computer and it won't let me put Windows XP again on a new IDE HDD I put in so I had to keep My PCs case open and swap it everytime I felt like playing DRIV3R, although I had to format that HDD to use with my new lap-top with no hard drive and the lap-top didn't like it once I formatted it.

Anyways, I will re-install windows soon, I'm just taking every single thing off my computer and putting everything on DVDs that about 360gig of data which I currently have used up, so I can start off fresh. And soon I'll get a new video card and that will fix up a few other video problems I'm having too.

Currently i have so many problems with this computer and upgrading my old Celeron 2.0Ghz to P4 2.66Ghz helped a fair but and stoped my computer from crashing and pausing sometimes on boot. So now the only problem is the Video Card and hopefully my computer will be working fine.

No don't buy Pentium!!! It suks. AMD 64 is bater I belive. I don't have one because it ain't cheep around here but I like it more because it is made for games.

I hear bad things about AMDs in the reviews, I hear the future of Intels are getting better and better. Intel are now currently are producing QUAD-CORE processors from it's procedor the Core Duo and these may be expensive but there very good and can handel 3 processors at a time, all amd's and Pentium 1,2,3 and 4 pentiums can only do 1 process at a time.

It really depends what your using the processor for which counts.

But if I wanted to change to an AMD I'd have to upgrade my entire PC. And all the Pentium 4's are getting extremely cheap now the 3.6Ghz where like a $1000AU dollars before and now their only like $150AU dollars each.

The best thing to do is to download Driv3r Demo version, it can be easly found in the web, if i do remember well, you can find it here.

I downloaded the demo as well, not bad but actually i am not very interested buying it (it's a cool game tho!!), i buy it when it will be cheaper

Yeh, and if you have any trouble downloading it, lets say your on a slow connection or your on dial-up I'm making a split set of files where you can download them piece by piece. I think it will be about 20MB a piece and about 35pices. Since the DEMO is about 700MB.

The demo of the game is 700mb the full version is about 4.2gig and it's illegal to host a full version of DRIV3R at this present time.

It features Nice and 2 millions from nice, it is not possible to explore nice without the missions allthough it is possible to mod it to be able to play nice as if it were in Take A Ride mode.

Although me releasing this mod may reduce Reflections sales on the PC version and that's no good.

sorry, it was just the link was dead, well not the link but the download had expired as you hotlinked it off of Atari's site which has disapeared, so I just changed it to a working site.

And some how something got in my mind thinking that someone said something about the full version, I just have to much on my mind, lol

Oh yeah sry, I didn't see that Driver3.net links to the Atari website. I thought they host the demo. So, use the link to Download.com or wait until I upload it to Planet-Driver.com.

Hmm, it's too big anyway. There are only two time limited missions. I would recommend to buy it. I bought it for under 10 €.

Yes the game, is very, very cheap right now. and what's the point using up so much data transfer when buying the game is cheaper. Will maybe not all that much cheaper, but cheap for what you get .

And yes I do check all weblinks on this forum to make sure they all work for everyone when people go to use them. So lets say someone posted a driv3r demo download and the download didn't work i'd change it to something which does work and also if the download server is slow there is a chance I may change it to something faster to.

This is so all users can be happy, instead of searching around all day, I do all the searching for them.
