Hi Driver fans. We’ve been fine-tuning the last details for the release of Driver San Francisco and we’ve had to tweak the release schedule: in North America, Driver San Francisco will now be available on Sept. the 6th on all platforms.

We know a few more days might seem long when you’re really eager to cruise the streets of San Francisco, so stay tuned because we also have cool news regarding the demo incoming!
This was on the Driver facebook page. The game has been delayed an entire week for North America. At least they are supposedly releasing a demo. I hope it was the one at E3 cause I've been wanting to get my hands on that.

What I don't get though is why they only changed the release date in North America. Did they mess up with the english maybe but why would that take a week to fix?

Well shipping isn't a reason anyway, unless they are stationed in Europe.

The Driver community developer explained on Twitter that it's for marketing reasons.
