I'm not sure how or if this can be done usually this takes alot of DRIVER FANS to do this because geting in to the coding isn't all that easy.

The origional DRIVER is that old. No one has much interest in it anymore. I've taken a look at the coding and we would need a very good coder. We also might need those EXPENSIVE programs that reflections must use.

A guy called 'bedobedo' claimed he added drivable 'civilian cars' into the game.

He is currently active on this forum. You can download it here on this forum (it isn't in english):

The translator doesn't work the greatest but I can make everything out

I remember looking at some of the files with a HEX editor and I remember doing something, but nothing as remarkable as this.

I'll check out what's going on here

too bad I don't have anytime to re-look through all the files!

EDIT: BTW: do you have a link to the 70meg file you speak off!
I cannot seem to find it, one links stopped working due to inactivity and the other is only 7meg.

EDIT: DW found it, it was on the first page

@madness: Yes i did mean he was active on those topics recently.

I have downloaded the moded version of Driver, I had to copy my own Config.exe file and configure it to get the game to run because it wasn't included for some reason. But the game doesn't seem to work. After the first cutscene the game simply dies with no error displayed at all.

Don't know why either
