We live in an age where most of us believe females don't game! Well I your pretty much wrong, may of them do. But they seem to be education games or the old plain and simple mario and not to forget The Sims. When we go back to the fact in believing girls don't game, are we usually thinking about driving games and shooters.

Well I'm not here to complain that there are not enough female gamers, or maybe I am?

As the title suggests I wanna know if there are any females among us!

EDIT: Id also like to point out that i dont know any girls thsat play educational games or the sims, maybe when they are like 11 or 12 but all the girls i know are through with that, and i know alot of girls. Its just either they play games like GTA or they dont play at all.

All the girls i hang out with have singstar and that's about it really. hell, even some of the guys i hang out with have singstar. but some of those girls play the sims aswell, and one of them plays pokemon still, but i don't care, so do i. i think some of them have games like crash bandicoot and i'm thinking ratchet and clank but none of them have ever told me this.

i know a few girls that play games. As you said, they mostly plays sims (build families) or Need for Speed.
I've never seen a girl play strategic or fps games, though.

No it wasn't either of them.

They seem to really like the nintendo wii though... We found one last holidays. All went well until I tried playing boxing with it. I ended up doing quite welll.... as long as everyone stood back.

I Think that it's kinda good that there aren't any girls amongst us here though. Because we are kind of crude sometimes and well, we would have to tone it down a little if there were girls around. But the problem is, our bantering and sort of free environment is what makes this site what it is. If we had to change to suit girls, i think that would suck.

Unless they are perfectly willing to act as imature as everyone else, it's always nice when you don't have to change to please them.

I think that is a really sexist attitude, and not true at all. Having girls here wouldn't mean we would have to act differently. In my opinion anyway.

Hi. I'm a girl. I'm probably one of the crudest people you will ever meet too...I make more sex jokes in a week than most people do in a year.
Get over yourself. Girls don't want guys to think they're prissy. We aren't. We can be crude too. And amazingly, we do like to swear like a sailor on shore leave, so I'm pretty certain that this site is safe from an invasion of prissies.

And I love Driver. Driver 2 really...Not so much 3...Only because I haven't played it that much. But don't assume that girls don't like violent games. I love them. The more gore in a game the better.

Haha! WW2 is the only war worth reproducing in a video game!!!
To be honest though, I've never played a game based on a historical event, mainly because I'm a b*t*h and enjoy ruining games, movies, books and adverts by correcting the historical inaccuracies!!! Like that stupid Old gold ad...Grr!!!

But getting back on topic, I played Driver 2 on Playstation a while back with my little brother...I don't play it anymore though...Mainly because I no longer have a playstation, but the one on my pc is pretty good. Driver 2 is still better. But that might have just been because I knew the cheats better and I didn't have to move my entire hand across the controller

But I am an original Playstation girl, mainly because I was actually around when the original one came out, and I managed to find some pretty good gore games on mine...but then again I had the assistance of my dad and brother in looking for those games...When they weren't robbing me of my time by playing Abe...<<<Stupid game...
American games are better for gore. If you have a chipped ps. then you tend to be able to get the good stuff. Apparently version 2 doesn't chip though...Oh well...

Thanks for the welcome. If you like the gore though you should check out the Resident Evil games...I think that's the zombie one where they actually explode when you kill them! Correct me if I am wrong though!!!

Right well, I welcome you to the forums, and i think i should apolagise cause i don't think you like me much. So Sorry.

I wasn't lumping all girls into a prissy sort of group as you called it. I merely beleive in common courtesy and will always be polite in front of a girl, no matter how unpolite she is... unless i have dreams about her being murdered in painful ways because i hate her so much. ANYWHO!

I'm not sexist, i'm far from it. I beleive in respect i beleive in true love, if anything, i'm probably more of a girl for the values i uphold than all but two of my mates who are girls, some of them are probably off having sex at the moment, when i beleive in waiting for marraige to consumate your relationships, god knows why?

I also like to be crude, but i reserve that for the people who i know WILL appreciate it, a lot of my female friends just walkaway when we have dirty conversations, some of them however, like to add their two cents, and somedays they go all in on an ace in the hole and even the guys get creeped out by this one girl and leave the conversation.

So i'm not exactly what the impression if me you had was, i'm not one for making emimies here, i used to have a HUGE rivalry with sedans here, but we figured that out and we no longer wish death upon each other in every post, but there is nothing against a good argument now and then.

So for whatever you thought of me, i apolagise, and hope we don't kill each other.

As for your suggestion of making Lseven7's and my friends drop tetris and pick up doom, i don't think a lot of them are into that, i think they're mostly cristians, upart from the groups athiest and the group sl*t. Although i like all of them, minus the group sl*t, i hate her a lot.

It's cool dude! I just get really defensive when people start making assumptions that girls don't do something, or do do something, because we are actually girls.

Be polite! I'm polite to old people, but it doesn't mean that I think that they dislike what I like!
