I find ATBhost easy to deal with. I can easily update code and such.

But that doesn't stop the fact that your post is covered AND filled with sh*t. It's like shitapalooza.

I actually have active users, and one guy who wants to become a coder for me, a moderator, an awesome design and all that jazz.

If you want, you can join up.

Chris, you try too hard. You may think that your site is better then T.K's site, but in reality its not. You see, it doesn't take a simple thing like games to make a site totally awesome. It takes things like knowing the right people and knowing what to do.

People don't just poof out of nowhere and flock to a site, most of the time they know the person and want to help them out. Your site is very plain, and I highly doubt people know about it. If you wanted your site to be really popular, you'd go to other sites and make friends with everybody there and slowly advertise your site, just like T.K did.

Sorry Chris, but I agree with T.K, his site is better, even though its a GameFAQ's clone.

My site isn't about just being a place to hang out. The main purpose of the site is to download free games and have fun playing them. Then you go to the simple forums and chat with other people.

But with what people, chris? There's nobody there. Sorry, but you need to work harder on it.

Actually, it used to get lots of traffic. The first 2 weeks it was up (I told people at school about it), I had over 100 visitors. Then, I never updated it. Now: 0 visitors. I blew my one opportunity.

No more users, though.

Also, Doom, there are many GameFAQs spinoffs, I just use a rarer source code.

Chris, you fail big time. My site is still getting new users (48 FTW). Really, your site's main attraction is the forums, which fail, tbqh. People are advertising my site on GameFAQs, and risking their account. My moderator is on his way to make some flash ads for the site, which cost money, and he wants to do it. My site's great. It has an awesome and original name, my admin name is the same way. Really Chris, your site's not that exciting. Kick it up a notch!

Hey, just a word of advice to all, always save your avatars as .GIF's for maximum quality! JPG's take up too much space, lol.

.gifs only have 256colors, I say your better off using JPEG but make sure you use a low resolution and compression ratio.

I wonder what Chris'll think of THIS.

Well you see madness, the maximum size for avatars here are 34kb, well anytime I tried to save a JPG that low it would come out in sh*tty quality!

This is a transparent .GIF with the diffuse color set to c8c8c8 (the post background).

LOOK AT THE HIGH QUALITY!

What program do you use to compress it, I managed to get your image to 12kb in .jpg without any quality loss. There is just no alpha channel.

With alpha, I prefer .png. It was only 1kb extra and can store more color information than .gif.

I also managed to get it to 7kb and it's still looking good. Just not super great.
