DSF, in my opinion, is the result of having 3 or 4 years to mess around with ideas, and look what happened...I personally love DSF but there's many things that killed it for me. Lack of updates, for one thing. We never got 70's Mode! Or any other important fixes, for that matter...we're getting Watch Dogs instead. It feels like, once Reflections finished their own game, Ubisoft is making them partner up with all of the other Ubisoft studios (which is cool and all), which leaves them with no time for their own game.
No 70's mode? No problem! Just make a custom soundtrack filled with classic rock, funk & disco, hop in one of the various 70's cars available ('74 Monaco & '77 Trans Am are my favorites), and BOOM! Problem solved! OK, so it's not a perfect fix, but it should hopefully alleviate the problem.
Anyways, you guys all make interesting points. Myself, I never play online mode, and while I'd love to see Reflections put in a 2nd-gen Camaro as DLC, I'm quite content with the 70's lead sleds that are already in the game. Besides, I don't really have the cash to buy DLC all the time. Now, getting to the core of the matter, the biggest problems I had with DSF were that the cops were very hard to avoid during a chase and that the difficulty of certain challenges was Germanic. Ah well, this is a Driver game, so I guess the latter is to be expected.
