Recently a domain was registered: Carmageddon.com, with a countdown which ends in 1st June, just a week before E3.
This series, which began in 1997, was to have a fourth one a few years ago, but in 2005 its development was canceled. The license became part of Eidos, which is now owned by Square Enix. All indications are that the latter have been encouraged to revive the controversial series of speed and action games.
