Flash or IRC for 2nd Anniversary
For the Driver Madness 2nd year anniversary we have the choice between IRC and Flash based Chat.

Overall IRC chat is more difficult to set up but we have way less problems with it. So here is a list of the benefits of either using IRC or Flashchat.


IRC
Advantages
-Reliable
-Easy to stay logged in (similar to msn group chats)
Disadvantages
-Hard to set up
-Additional Programs Required

Flash based Chat
Advantages
-Integrated with Driver Madness
-Easy to use
Disadvantages
-Continuously logs out at any random time (unreliable)
-Uses up to much bandwidth for users on slow connections

IRC totally outweighs Flash based chat!
So I'll be releasing IRC details soon including instructions on using this with some of the most popular IRC Clients such as Opera IRC, Trillion IRC ChatZilla, mIRC and anymore popular programs if anyone can mention some of their favorites.

With the anniversary almost under four days away, it is important for me to make a quick descision.

I have to see when will be the anniversery in GMT -3 time. I think that I wont be able to do it too

Don't worry, we had this problem last year and people where unable to attend because it was 3am where they lived.

To fix this issue we will be holding an alternative chat about a week later for other to attend, probably on a weekend too! So school and work commitments don't get in the way.
