yeh, but I may enable bigger avatars with better quality, but not anytime soon. Although I may add a bit more size to the image. It's really just the bigger the image the more space it's going to take up on one page to, unless you all made prety big posts there would be no problem.

Anyways I may activate Signitures soon, just really though that it might keep everything looking very neat and tidy. But if everyone wants it I may add this feature soon.

Now since I hear your new to forums you may not know what a signiture is on forums.

On forums a signiture is a piece of text and/or images which are on everysingle post you create without putting it there.

So lets say the following data where in my signiture

Regards,
Driver Madness

Then Regards, Driver Madness will be found on everysingle post you post. And anyone can put what they like there as long as it follows the set of rules I'll give out like a maximum of 2 lines and/or 1 low res image.

And I may allow users to disable or enable viewing of others signitures as signitures just add that extra bit of loading time expecially if all the users have pictures in their signitures.

I'll put some pictures in the gallery tommorow when I get enought time if I do.

And I may restrict it to just words, it just means faster page loading times and you'f have to agree these forums are alot faster than Atari Forums.

On firefox anyways....

I've been in a lot of forums lately and everyone had a pic or more as signature. Too many pics and too detailed pics make it slow, personally i would allow pics in our sigs but i would set up a low amount of letters available as sig, and i wouldnt allow pic with a larger size of 640 x 480 (or less).

yeh, and I'll try to keep it that way even with signitures and avatars.
And on Internet Explorer i've noticed speed decreases. But usually it depends. I think I should get down to that thread i said I was going to do on firefox. And how you can help support Driver Madness while using Firefox

I'll explain that in that particular thread that I must get to creating.
But that download on the portal is ran by google adsence which is an online program for making small amounts of money online, it's very small since everysingle time someone clicks on an ad I usually recieve anywhere between 3 cents to about 20cents and possible more on certain occasions.

But when you download either Pisca and/or Firefox I recieve 50cents for each download and install. And it even works when you already have firefox and just want to install the Google Toolbar, which give's use of many other features although it can be disabled and/or uninstalled as well.

But I don't think this works while un-installing and then downloading and installing it again, unless you have completly refrshed your computer or if it is someone elses computer it will work. I think it's also a good way to spread firefox which is quite good because everyone dosen't really like IE once they've downloaded FIrefox and if you want to try it there is a button on the Portal that says; Get Firefox with Google Toolbar, if you download it and install it you'll also help support Driver Madness and yourself with faster speeds

So it looks like that if we make this a big community like atari and everyone downloaded firefox, you'd be rich, if there was a million members, 50 cents everytime YOU'D HAVE $500,000

Somes things telling me we arn't getting a million members, lol.
I'd be happy if we had 200active non-spammer members.

And if they all downloaded firefox 200*0.50= $100 enough to pay for a years hosting.

, if only we would get this many every year, but I guess people do click the ads sometime and I earn a bit from that too.

Shouldn't really be talking about that, it's kinda againist Adsence TOS, so don't abuse the ad system, just click what interests you. So that's only fair on the advertisers.

It looks pretty good, and the seller which sold that accidently sold something similar for $1 as a buy it now price, and he woun't give it to the person who baught it, but they both agreed about the error in the price and left it.

Still $1 for something worth $5000, a bargin... lol
