Anyways, how did you make that D4Beta vid??
Pretty tight..

Basically it's just a game called Crash Day, at the time it looks like it had almost next-generation graphics but everything else in the game wasn't that great. I think they needed better programmers for that game.

The speed-o meter I just copied from the original driver, I did a pretty shoo-tty job, I actually recorded myself playing Driver and chroma-keyed the speed-o.

The map is just a screenshot of the game (Crash Day) map editor and I moved it so it looked like the car was moving with it.

The rest of the HUD I created in flash, I put it all together in Sony Vegas and completed the entire project within a couple of hours.

BTW: I aint tryin to play you out, madness, but my GTASA video neared 31,000 views just sayin lol.

from the driver videos I've seen on you tube they don't seem to get that many views, for a game as popular as San Andreas it is expected that many more people go to search for that kind of stuff. Since GTA games are more popular than driver games.

Here is the reason however for callin it "teaser", like smth what makes it unclear. ...Like the developers show in their teaser the history of Driver series. An upcoming Driver will need the kind of D1 & D2 atmosphere. For example hubcaps allways flied off the wheels before Driv3r! Spectacular city horisons and so on.
