Finally I made it run on PCSX. It's crazy how simple it was to set up PCSX compared to PCSX2 on Mac. I still don't manage to run anything on PCSX2 after months of trying.

And I just played a round of take a ride — so great! I couldn't play it on the Playstation anymore because it won't run most discs anymore, my PS2 is so fucked seriously.

Anyway, I am wondering now how I can hack the game. I saw some guy hacking the PSone version on Youtube, to make day in Los Angeles. He's using cheat engine! I downloaded a similar program, because cheat engine doesn't exist on Mac it seems (although sometimes I read it does but can't find it anywhere, well, very confusing) and I was wondering how I can find some codes or stuff to insert.

I will try that Los Angeles trick later, but what I'd mainly like is what I've always wanted since I was little: changing weather for free roam, changing car for free roam! Eventually also changing spawn point, but I don't really care about that.

It's just that in the manual it said that in free ride the weather would change randomly but this just simply never happened. (beta thing?)

Either way, there must be some sort of codes for that, and also for the cars. This would put an end to something I've wanted to the past decade If anyone knows what I have to do, I'd really appreciate it And I cannot wait.


EDIT: Actually it's not this program called cheat engine he is using but another similar one. But also only for PC

Only PCs get the cool toys, such as ePSXe, Playstation Emulation Cheater, PSXVram, etc.

I used this program similar to cheat engine (but for Mac) and finally managed to change a few things after some long tutorials, like the number of "cones" I've went through in trailblazer. I changed the number and it said I have done 517 / 100

I was really hoping that there was some already done stuff however.
