Just bought this game for 2$ at a savers, was disappointed when i got home and installed the game just to figure out that it does not launch at all. The disc has no scratches, smudges, or any of that, it was still wrapped in plastic in its case. So i tried
uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't work. Then i tried running it in compatibility mode with all of the options it was giving me, nothing worked. When i try to run it from the desktop it tells me that i need administrator privileges, so i ran it as administrator, nothing happened, it just pops up saying "did the program run correctly?"
Does anyone have a fix for this? i'd really like to play this game, thanks.

I'm so sorry for reviving an old topic but i have the same issue here and the link above wasn't useful at all.I'm getting the 'No compatible 3d devices found' error when i open the config.exe,game.exe crashes if i try to run it and it can't seem to locate my gfx card.My specs:
Windows 10 Pro 64Bits
APU AMD A10 7860K w/Radeon R7 graphics
8GB DDR3 RAM (4+4GB) Dual-Mode
ASRock FM2A55M-HD+ R2.0
HDD Toshiba 1TB

I searched the foruns and read all topics related to this but none worked to me.Driver 1 is the only game which ever gave me this kind of error. It seems to not be recognizing my video devices or something. Is there any solution to this yet? Or at least a workaround? I'd really love to play the PC version of Driver 1

EDIT: Nevermind! I found the solution on this link: https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Driver
Just had to configure dgVoodoo and transfer all the files to Driver folder and voilá: config.exe now recognizes a 3d device (3dfx Glide to me) and Game.exe now opens and game is running nice.Graphics are way prettier than the PSX version! Thank you very much to the people who posted that information there!
