That's not a hidden area. You just found an oversight in the level design. There's nothing back there. This is not exciting.

Can't be a hidden area, the PC version doesn't have this aperture.

For me, a hidden area is a place who is voluntarily hidden by the developers, in order to discover something useful or not, and not a empty place.
