As a project that's been ment to be started for years, I finally present to you all the forgotten, beautiful, little movie:
Image
That there, is a 1950 Chevy Bel Air, I'm nearly done with the outside of this very accurate model.
What started out as a little dream I had a few years ago, has now turned into a short low polygon film that will help tie in together the future official movies of mine.
This won't see the light of the public on completion for years, so that I can release it in my name. (Release date has been planed to December 2014)
This takes place in the 1950's, as we join a currently non faced character, who is a father, and underground criminal trying to get his family to the top of the rich pile and help his friends get out of debt, which if they no not pay up in time, they will be assonated. What this man thinks will bring true happiness in this world, comes to find that there's something else under everything people have never noticed, and money is just a useless item to define what kind of person you are.
The story is currently at the first, unfinished, unrevised draft stage, so it will be messy for a while.
Although this doesn't play a major role in the backbone of understanding any future films of mine, but it's a necessary piece, vital to understanding just a few things, and on top of that, a good story.

Me and Jan did some Cheat Engine magic and restored a bunch of unused gang vehicles. For some reason the Columbian gang Mojave and Tony Montana gang Mohave crash my game, while they don't on his. We haven't spawned the Columbian gang Shag Van yet either, or the Tony Montana gang GS Wolhabend either. Think we'll try the Tony Montana gang Lighting and Caballo out since normally they only appear in storehouse missions, the Lightning is just in a cutscene and vanishes after it.

I'm very impressed with this, a big step in 3d modelling, this probably will make easier their jobs. (Y)

Wow, this is very impressive indeed! It's amazing how far we're coming with technology. I myself don't plan on using this for many reasons, one being I really enjoy modeling things from scratch and seeing your hard work come together so perfect.

It's because of this.

After an entire day and half of today, I have turned a broken pile of junk into a perfectly nice running tower!
Image
Image
That there is an empty case I had found by a dumpster earlier this year.. And what do you know? Every aspect on it works!
Specs:
Intel Pentium 4 @ 2.40Ghz
512MB x 4 = 2GB RAM
Video card: Currently unknown
430Watt power supply
80GB Hard drive from a 2000 SONY VAIO PCV RX
3 extra fans, including the CPU fan and the two fans in the PSU.
After selling the GX280, I decided to see if I could build a working computer with what I had, and I did. Now I'm going to put this up for sale after installing some video card drivers.
Building this was a challenge, the CPU cooler had a brace that in order to be attached to the motherboard, has to be screwed into the original case. So I used some bolts to fix that issue (Sine this case isn't for this motherboard). Excited to see this thing running :D

Always someone trying to spoil the joy. :)
I found out what the card is and it just happens to be a 256MB NVIDIA GeForce 6200.
Well everyone, this computer will get me some more money!
Come and celebrate with me!

I've won a bid on a Dell OptiPlex 360, which is an Intel Core 2 Duo build, probably from 2007-2009.
Specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 2.66Ghz
2GB RAM (I think this thing should hold 4 gigs)
(Just bought a GX280 power supply with 450 Watts to support the expensive video card I bought for this tower) I will have to re-configure the inside of the case to lock the PSU in)
Video card I purchased for it:
ASUS something (Totally forgot) It can play modern games on low/medium settings, so this card was a steal. :D
(I couldn't find the exact card, but this one is $20 cheaper then the one I bought)
http://www.amazon.com/Asus-GT730-2GD3-C ... 287MAEW01C -Meh, close enough.

This is the first newer, and was expensive when it was first released, computer that I've ever owned. It's so fast :D I have never felt fast before, it feels amazing!
I will upload me playing GTA 4 next week when mah parts get here! Can't wait to finally achieve this goal man! And this is only half of where I'm going!

By the way guys, how the hell do I correctly setup textures for D1 modded vehicles? Nevermind, I think I've got it. But it seems to be incompatible with transparency on vehicles. I tried to make a D1 vehicle mod and my game is crashing.. Probably something I did to it earlier in time, it does report missing file errors, also for some reason I can't import my own custom wheels...
Update:
I want to replace some sounds to make them sound a little more HD. For example the police siren. But for some reason, no matter what settings I set my custom audio to, it will come out silent in game... Am I doing something wrong?

You should try to go back to school, you seem to like to Randomly capitalize Words. Also, you should talk to a shrink about this whole "men being able to have periods" fetish, you're fucked in the head.

3D graphics hit the gaming industry in the late 1980's, I've been looking all over the internet and I could not find the answer to my simple question:
Approximately how many polygons could an average computer with 3D graphics handle in 1986-1989? Such as the game Race Drivin, and Flight Simulator 2.0 - 4.0, this interests me.
I'm estimating it would be about half as much as a PS1 could handle, since the PS1 was only 5 years after the date I specified. I'm guessing about 800-1500. Does anyone know?
