I on the other hand highly dislike basically all of their Counter Strike typed Valve games, with the exception of Day of Defeat Source. Other than that I prefer the more story related and atmospheric titles. Okay, Portal is bad. Other than that.

Valve won't release Half Life 3 in near future. Why? Because now they're focused on different kind of games which brings them more profit now, i mean online multiplayer based games instead of story games, it's sad but we know that is a business. I prefer a good storyline rather than a bad story game focusing mainly on multiplayer. And about CS, playing alone is boring, is meant to be played with a group of people that you know talking and having fun in TeamSpeak, way better than playing alone with bunch of people doing whatever they want. With constant communication it's cool playing with tactics. It's a game easy to start with but hard to master, that's why i think it still keeps a lot of players after 13 years, and it's a perfect balance between simulation and arcade.

Ohhhh Valve... I can't believe their doing this... NOW... I've been doing some research, and it seems Valve is currently focusing on Steam most of the time. By the way, this interested me, either this is a reference to a returning game such as Half Life, Portal or something, or it's just new crap that the fans like me of the Half Life series wouldn't really care for.
"There are a lot of assets that come from existing Valve projects". That line stood out to me, because Valve has really said nothing about "projects", correct me if I'm wrong. The only thing I've heard Valve do recently is design the "Steam Machine".

I've played CS with friends. It was hilariously gay. Oh and it keeps a lot of 13 years old around, that's for sure.

I love majority of the Valve games (Counter Strike, Garry's Mod) for the sole purpose of f***ing with people in them. Seeing them get enraged is worth it.

Also, Teamspeak is useless. You can use the Steam voice chat which is also integrated into the Steam overlay. Whoop-e-doo.

Steam platftorm related stuff, TF2, CS GO (Crusty sh*t GO play something else), Dota 2.

That could very much be the case, but it wasn't very specific. Is anyone here going to buy the Steam Machine? I'm sure as hell not :D I don't have the money for experiments like that, and am about to receive $200 for the strong computer of my dreams :D

I've rarely seen kids there, the majority which i met were in casual, but in competitive mode (which is the real thing) when you reach higher ranks there's a very little probability to met one, unless he's a natural born killer  . Teamspeak isn't useless, at least for us, to talk in the integrated voice chat you have to press a key and in that portion of time you can get hurt (it's impossible to crouch while pressing voice chat key and aiming, unless you have a mouse with extra buttons), also the best way it's to have it on non stop, not pressing buttons. But it's my opinion.

It's what Valve calls their custom gaming computer their constructing. :

The computer I'm building beats it and the PS4/XboxOne  I've heard rumors that the specs are something like this: 1GB video card, 3ghz dual or quad core processor, and 8GB ram.

Steam voice chat reduces the ingame sounds so you aren't capable to hear who's around. On the other hand Teamspeak has voice detection and only turns on when you talk, and not reduces the ingame sounds.

I won't be talking anymore about this cos obv you are trolling.

Not exactly right. I nor my friends who I regularly use voice chat with have not experienced this. I know Skype on the other hand reduces the volume of voices. I can prove this if necessary. TS as far as I know doesn't touch anything neither.

Don't know where trolling enters this, for I'm only expressing my genuine opinions and feelings.

I was simply wondering if this was necessary.

Mark to the rescue! I remember I did that way back. Whenever I'm in a Skype call though it still plays with the volume of people talking depending how loud they get. Either that's on skype or their mic.

Posting from mobile btw. Mark, DM needs an Android app. Get to it. :D

I've tried that months ago and it doesn't help (still reduces the sound), i think that it's related to communication programs rather than CS ingame voice chat.

Steam doesn't to that though, unless you have microsoft settings set to do otherwise. Sounds fucked up.

As much as I'm enjoying all this stuff on DM right now, I got to get back to working on my dad's present! I haven't touched it in a full week. :( By the way, this 14 year old tower will play Next Car game lol

Ahahhahahaha. Right now it's running XP. When I do finish rebuilding this, you know it won't be running even that anymore right?
