Alright, another project. Rumoured features of it, do far by:
  • Beta Yellow Buick GSX will be available to drive on Miami level;
  • Beta Copcar will be available on Miami level;
  • Beta traffic cars on Miami level;
  • Beta Buick Skylark on New York level;
  • Beta Yellow Buick GSX on L.A. level;
  • FBI Farlane in San Francisco;
  • PSX Newcastle cars on Newcastle level;
  • PSX Traffic and Player Car remakes/if possible extracts from the PSX levels;
  • The beta unused loading screen.
And, it`s gonna be the next, after completion the PC Beta release. By far I`m going straight on decrypting using Hex modifiying the PSX levels. If suceeded, it will be great to have all that stuff extracted.

Okay, I just found that Driver PC Beta remake useless and little bit boring to do. Decided to start on the PSX Beta instead, moreover it`s a lot of interesting to make. First thing I have being started on:

That was done fast. Used special version of psxvram to get these textures that quick.

Everything is messed up, I still think I`m on wrong way with using CIVCAR2 model. Ideas for what exactly model should be it? The leftover models in flat.lev or train.lev? Not sure at all...

I do, but unfortunately there will be a blue version only, since there can be found only blue rear palette.

Remember the 80's Camaro in Driver 2 beta? Thos textures look like it...

Have you tried the back on the other traffic cars? Maybe it will fit better

Also if you need any help let me know, im doing nothing these days and this mod interests me ;)

Hello Maverick. Glad to see you here, hope you go ahead in car modifying and modelling ;)

Actually I need help on few things, one of them is to fins which civcarmodel would fit better these beta and unused textures. Another thing.. the blue van that appears in Beta Miami (instead of trash can it can be seen in these tight streets right on the road of chase.

Otherwise, I don`t really need help on other things. I have special version of PSXVRAM, which allows direct saving the texture on which palette you are, and right ideas for Beta Buick GSX, FBI Farlane, Beta Copcar and all that crapload of carmodels I need to texturise and put them working in Driver. Except.. erm that blue beta traffic car.But don`t worry ;)

Yea I remember that, will teach me spending an hour trying to find the van textures using psxvram. (lolz) Let's see what i can mash up on the current static van model :)

It did not ended, like the other projects it was just put awhile until current tools get updated allowing custom UV, damage and reflections fix. Will be initially re-instated next month.
