...We've been through this before. You won't go to jail for downloading sh*t. The likelihood of getting a fine is smaller than the chance of you: 1. Being drafted to fight a war against China and 2. Living through that same war. (Just fyi, it was the first country I could think of that the US wouldn't be stupid enough to fight.)
How many cases have you heard of involving downloading? I can think of one American case, none in Australia or the UK... But I could be wrong.

I do. I love Nickelodeon. Invader Zim and Fairly Odd Parents are on Nick. So is Drake and Josh, and Drake Bell is kinda hot. We've been through the entire 'watch what you say' thing too, so I'll just say this: I'm older than you. Almost everyone on here is older than you. You won't realise how much you miss things like Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network and Disney until you're old enough to do anything/everything. NBC and Comedy Central are overrated.
But we don't have Nick at Nite anymore in Aus they took it off years ago, which was disappointing... I loved it. But it doesn't matter anymore, because now they have Invader Zim on where Nick at Nite used to be! Yay for Gir

Back on to torrenting, i don't like Pirate bay cos it supports pirates, who are bad people, unlike piraters who give me stuff I can't get otherwise! I use this simple rule; if you would be willing to pay money for it then you can't steak it! I believe in buying albums from the artists i like so they get the money to keep on, but if i want a song / album cos i wanna try them out then torrents ftw!

I can't get torrented games to work, possibly cos i'm on linux but frequently i try to mount the iso and all i get is fail, are there a lot off dodgy torrents out there?

Torrenting is vastly used for dubious activities, however its not simply due to the scale of the problem, its the fact that it is likely you will likely punish some users who share their connection! To this end, and to the best of my knowledge, the only fines / reduced internet services have been to up-loaders!

...Pft, yeah, ok. My mum encourages me doing it. A lot of the shows we watch aren't available in Australia yet, so we have to get them from the net. Same with music. One of my favourite bands doesn't have an album released in Australia, and it's not on iTunes. The only way I can get their music is by downloading it from places like TPB and Limewire.
