A long time ago (in this topic) someone said that they don't like exotic cars because they have automatic gear boxes, most i know of don't! Anyone who does drive an automatic deserves to be shot as they are pants, pointless and they are rather a bit ginger beer! Manuals are the true way, follow them not any of the others!

I can't drive, btw, no licence, but even if I did I would have to use an automatic. I have issues with my wrists and the way that they move... Plus, I'm not going to learn how to drive an automatic, just to learn all over again with a manual! Lol.

Actually, I like driving my automatic, that means I can focus on other things while I drive. One day I might learn to drive a standard, but not yet. The only manual I know how to drive is on those sega super racing games at the arcades

I kinda meant the "ep, right between raining fire and floods of blood", but whatever, strange that my quote thingy failed, anychance I have only just became eligible to drive so I'm a newbie to the whole idea, but on NFS, GRID and DIRT i like manual for the control and sense of power it gives me. In my country there is problem and that is they want to stop young drivers in as many ways as possible as hey are more likely to impale themselves on a road sign to drive safely!

This means that its hard for me to start, because if i want to drive anywhere other than a farmers field i need to buy a provisional license, that's 50 quid. My mam then needs to be insured (very expensive) for me to drive, if i want my own car, then i have to pay for road tax, more insurance, the car, lots of petrol and until i pass, still take my mom with me, is it just gay here or everywhere?

It's pretty gay here too. I don't have my licence because I keep failing, and can't afford to fork out $120 everytime I take the test just to bomb it. It's always made me wonder: there are people, like me, who have difficulties with written tests. How are we supposed to get our licence?! I'm thinking about cheating next time. Don't get me wrong, I know it all. I just can't put it into words!
But for me to even learn to drive, I need to get third party insurance for my dad's car, pay taxes and fuel and can only drive between 6:30 and 9 pm to learn, because my dad has to be in the car. Not exactly easy! Lol!

Phew, i thought it was just my government being a bit gay, but at the moment i have nothing, having just turned 17, but i will need to get my provisional license, which lets me drive a car with L plates and my ma in the passenger seat, then i will need lessons (very xpensive ) and then i will try to pass my test, blast it may still be years before i can be zooming down the motorway in a gorgeous motor!
