At the moment Driver: Parallel Lines is selling extremely well in Australia, topping 1st place on Nintendo Wii this week. This seems to be quite amazing considering the game still seems to hold it's full price.

However this week and sometime a couple of months ago local stores like K-Mart have offered Driver: Parallel Lines for free with the purchase of a Nintendo Wii, this could be the reason behind this however Driver: Parallel Lines on the Wii hasn't made it on the charts on previous occasions when this has occured.

Yeah, I'm not sure why they used that.
But when you think about it on the Nintendo Wii it is more focused on shooting.

But the also proably never had the word in their system, for what they would use for dpl genre.

I guess it could have been action or racing !

On UBISOFT UK's site they put it under the "Racing" category.
But it could be anything, unfortuanatly there is no official category, as that is determined by the site who forms those categories not the games publishers or creators.

yes you can purchase this game in the UK.
Infact as far as I know you can get this game anywhere.
Just ask your local game retailer.

I'll tell him. He's seen me playing the Xbox and PS2 versions and I think he likes it! He never liked D3 though.

That's your opionion...
Everyones views are different, some say d3 is way better than dpl and others say dpl is way better than d3. It depends on the person.

D3 was only better because of the non-ingame menu.

Oh yeah I agree on that. I also preferred the graphics of D3. And the characters and the story and the gameplay. But this is off-topic.

huh. In Australia DPL is doing great on wii, in America its doing terrible. In Aussie: #1. USA : #43,123 out of 43,123. LOL, wii doesnt even have 43,123 games, no system does :P, so it cant possibly be that low, but it might as well be. Press releases prove it has a score under 4.

It's possible that they are 43,123 games for Wii. But on PS2 or Xbox they are much more than 43,123 games ...
