UBISOFT compeltly aquired the Driver Series on the 1st of January 2007. Setteling of the 23 million dollar (19 Million €) deal with Atari. Now that UBISOFT is completly incharge they have decided to improve the range and avaliability of Driver products.
[hr]
So now that UBISOFT is controling everything, we have been expecting many iimprovements and we all have been treated by UBISOFT with an Nintendo Wii release of Driver: Parallel Lines.
[hr]
Driver: Parallel Lines has been added to many retailers release lists for March 15th, 2007 which is exzactly one year from the PS2 and XBOX release. So by the looks of things, "Driver: Parallel Lines" isn't going to get old anytime soon.
[hr]
It has also been reported that the PSP version is back in action, quite a while ago the PSP release was cancelled although it looks like UBISOFT is trying to make up happy by thinking about releasing a PSP version. Not much news has been reported on the PSP release although it is well expected.
[hr]
Wii Releases, PSP Releases... Well it looks like we just may have our chances for a PC version of Driver: Parallel Lines. Currently there has been no news released on the well wanted PC version but with UBISOFT in DRIVERs hands we may just get our well wanted PC Version.
[hr]
So I wondering if there is any chance for a real Next Generation release on the PS3 or XBOX360. I kind of think that this may not be possible or completly useless unless reflections kept the full quality textures, then they may be able to release a very improved version of Parallel Lines on Next Generation Consoles. If your thinking the Nintendo Wii is an Next Generation console, it really is but there isn't any real graphical improvement.
I hope you enjoyed this update
