Driver Parallel Lines 1978 era textures mod

Here is a little mod who replaces the annoying ads that you can see near the safehouse in the 1978 era.

You must use SLConverter-DDS by SparedLife to import the textures.

There's another store front in NJ in '78 with Ubi game ads on it, also the police station in '06, on the shelves. Also a few stores in NJ in '06 as well. I can get you some pics if needed.

Would be better to replace it with era-appropriate ads, tho (like movie posters, car ads, etc.). The 2006 one doesn't really need to be removed because it's era-appropriate.

Thanks. I don't have knowledge of all locations where there is advertising. So that could be useful.

Maybe. It's a matter of taste i think. Some people like advertising and others don't like.

Geez, thanks god somebody already took care of that problem, those ads were so anachronic, thanks for posting the fix man i really appreciate the work.
But really i have no problem with the ads in 2006, make all the fixes you think are nececary if you want but i am keeping all the ads in 2006 since they are era-appropriate (and i really like that Ubisoft added their own personal touch to the game by advesting their own games like Atari did with those "The Stuntman" posters and atari logos all over New York in the PS2 and Xbox version)
