Game sounds?

Where would I find each of the weapon sounds and the explosion sound in the game files, and how would I go about retrieving them as .wav's or mp3s?

SOUND.SP, only the Driv3r equivalent (SOUND.GSD) can be extracted.

You can use MFAudio for both SP and GSD files.

Sweet, I managed to extract SOUND.SP (mission dialouge / quotes) and SOUND.GSD (sound effects including the ones I'm looking for) with MFAudio as playable .wav files. They're all grouped together into an individual .wav file which means I'll have to cut individual sounds out with Audacity later.

However, it seems the game and MFAudio read the files at different frequencies - when extracting at the default 48000hz the sounds are very high pitched and fast. I've tried a number of different frequencies, it's now a matter of finding the right one.

Would anyone happen to know the correct frequency?

Well, usually frequencies are 8000, 11025, 16000, 18900, 22050, 24000 Hz.
