Originally created this thread to see if embedded videos could be placed in the forums. Doesn't look like it can.
Here's the link to a playlist of my Driv3r movies:

I'd recommend downloading the high quality version right off driver madness. Each video will have a direct link to the high quality download in it's description.

You can download LoXodonte's videos
here.
In
this I was able to embed a youtube video. There is a button for inserting flash .swf objects and the youtube player is a flash object only if you can find the .swf direct file to it like mine =
direct link to swf
But I have decided to make it possible to add youtube links and they'll just play on the forum when you press the play button, that'll make everything easier.
At the moment Google Video plugin works perfectly!

By the way I have a video of the Driver 3 Beta Version online mode ! But I can't upload it at youtube because youtube doesn't really like macs, so i'm looking for a .mpg4, .mpg, .mov, … -.wmv-converter. Cause with wmv it works, with quicktime it doesn't.

is it in the .mov format?
and hopefully it isn't a few kb, because those other video files you sent me where just kilobytes that would take seconds to upload, I'm not sure what they are because I rarely use macs. If the video is over a 1mb you should be alright and it is a video, if so you can send it to me via. this =
http://www.publicupload.drivermadness.net and I can see if I can convert it

Yeh it's .mov but I think I have this problem again… it's 12 kb and it lasts 27 seconds. However I'll try and if it doesn't work I'll try to upload it on my site.

edit: i found a solution:

The link for the Driv3r beta online video doesn't work for me, it just shows the broken quicktime thing.

Yeah, it doesn't exist and the one you sent me is 12kb. There is something your doing wrong somewhere, what program are you using the Render the video?
I might ask someone who uses a mac and see what they say!

iMovie an there's no problem for me. It's again this Windows/Mac thing …
The problem is I can't upload .mov files on youtube from my mac, only .wmv.
And i looked everywhere for .mov-.wmv converters but i didn't find anything … after i installed them they say i have to pay and that's for 6 or 7 programms … -–__–- so if anone knows a free .mov-.wmv-converter it would be fine !

I think this is because your trying to convert a 12kb file.
Something is going wrong somewhere and the reason all the converters are failing because you might be converting the wrong file.
I have a .mov player on my pc, and it plays all other movies made on a mac :S
So obviously there is something wrong.

I have a similar problem watching mp4 files on my computer. I was downlaoding the RAtchet and Clank trialer and it played on the website but when it was downloaded none of my programs could play it, what should i use for an MP4?

I'd say QuickTime Player.
And the file is not 12kb, that's what you see madness. One my computer it works fine and I don't have any converting problems, the problem is that I won't pay 150 € for a programm wich I won't use very much.

I use Klite Mega Codec pack to play all my media. It plays everything and comes with a quicktime/realplayer alt.
As for converting, I know I can drag and drop .mov files into Vegas, and save them as whatever I want, including .wmv. Get me the file, and as long as It's not corrupted, I'll get it to play.

The strange thing is when I got to download it where ever Coyote went to upload it the file size is like 12kb. Coyote says on his end it's large so it's hard to know what's going on
