Not discovered by me, but by a youtube user. Someone coded a patch that solves the draw distance problem.
You just have to copy the archive's content in the game's folder.
About the draw distance, I don't put screenshots here because it's not really noticeable with simple images.
On the other hand, modifying the FOV is REALLY noticeable
