Model extraction?

Hey there
I'm just wondering if it's acceptable around here to ask for models. If not, that's cool, but I thought I would ask.
You see, I play the simulation Rigs of Rods. Mainly what I do in the game is drive Monster Jam, a monster truck racing series. I have the PS2 version of Driv3r and absolutely adore it, but thing is - the Orange Bowl in Miami would just make THE most kickass monster truck stadium. I always thought it was a bit wasted in Driv3r, having nothing in it. All I could really do was lead some cops in and have a little demo derby...
Rigs of Rods is completely free, open-source, and this model would not be used for any financial gain or anything like that. I just want to hold a monster truck event in this place
But, yeah. I really would like to get the model somehow and convert it over into RoR. Maybe some of the surrounding area as well, such as the parking lot and the trees and ticket offices and stuff for an offline version where lag isn't an issue.
Thanks guys. I hope someone out there with the PC version can help me out a bit. And if it's not acceptable to ask for models around here, please say so and I'll understand. Thanks.

Currently, the only files that can be extracted directly from the game, are :music, sound effects, textures and the videos.
For the models, it's only possible while the game is running. And only the models, not the meshes colliders, skeletons or bones, animations.

Wait since when can music and sound effects be ripped from the game?? And if that's the case has someone found a way to change the sound effects yet? (PS2)

Sorry I meant for the pc version. For the ps2 version, nothing can be extracted, because it's a big .img file.

Actually, you can extract sounds from the ps2 version. With a program called PSound you can search almost any ps2 and ps1 games for sounds. Not all will show sometimes but its good enough. It takes a long time though as each sound file may contain hundreds if not thousands of different sounds, mostly repeating themselves. But if you are patient enough, you'll get what you're looking for.

Yeah, I'm dying to know. Before we couldn't get into Driver 1 and now we have almost everything. There must be a way.

btw, if you're wondering why I want the VEHICLES folder from the PS2 version it's because the PS2 version has more car colors than the PC and Xbox version.

Back on topic...
I`m thinking of trying to extract any models, and convert them into .3ds or .z3d format, since I`m still having old disc of DRIV3R in my collection. Any suggestions of what car/cars should I do convert first?

Conclusion:
Extracting something out IS POSSIBLE.
I`ll do rip the rest later, and put them on Racing Madness. I`m not being lazy, so I`ll do them as model rips.

Unlike the ps2 version of GTA3, there's no DRIVER3.DIR file related to the DRIVER3.IMG file. So extraction with a tool such as IMGTool is not possible ( it works with GTA3 ).
